About Sensors Toolbox - SenseView

SenseView is replaced with more improved IoTool (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.senlab.iotoolapp). More info: iotool.io. Check first if your sensor is still supported (https://iotool.io/extensions/sensors)!

An all-in-one sensor toolbox and a multipurpose sensors data logger. Sensor readouts in real time - connect, monitor, track and share sensor data! SenseView gives users the opportunity to connect up to 20 different parallel sensor readings from a (current) total of 134 available.

FEATURES
- Color coded graphs with adjustable thresholds are completed and shown in real time
- Simple parameters such as posture, activity, accelerations (x,y,z), proximity, latitude and longitude, light etc ..along with the more complex ones such as heart rate, ECG, respiratory rate - anything the sensor itself can track
- Communicate with wireless external or internal sensors, use more then just your device's incorporated accelerometer, gyro and GPS
- Analyzes, save and import/export collected sensor data logs
- Shows data in numerical form or in diagrams with adjustable thresholds or color coding
- Shares sensor data readouts using e-mail, Google Drive, Dropbox..
- Live concurrent tracking across internal or external sensors - in real time
- Includes internal sensors: Proximity, light, orientation, magnetic field, pressure, temperatures..
- Collect and process all data - improve your training regiment or self tracking sessions. Visually
- Monitor one or more groups of workers, athletes, security on one mobile device - check their vital signs, location, be alerted
- Allows for quick integration of additional internal algorithms like: fall detection, pedometer, location alerts etc, by the users themselves
- Easily creates alerts and thresholds for different parameters
- Modular structure
- Color themes

Doesnt always makesense at first but is unique tool

Tone on tone lettering is eligible. Text which renders below 10pts on any mobile device is eligible. When both admonishments are ignored, the subsequent text is eligible. Unless your target demographic are all under the age of 25, possess perfect vision and have no issue with staring at an LCD display with the LEDs cranked to 100%, you should considering revamping the visual interface. If you do so, you might get a better number of reviews to correspond with the 50+ million downloads this app has on record. Should you feel the need for a night mode, consider designing it as an option. In fact, given the advertised functionality of the app, it could even be a sensor controlled applet with a user feedback to customized device response to the individual user/owner. While I'd tinker with this idea, I can't see enough of the interface to ascertain how to use it. Life's hard enough without fumbling in the dark.

App export is broken, rendering this app entirely useless for recording and data logging / analysis

T70%
by T####:

not sure why I downloaded it, but it's cool !

S70%
by S####:

Works great with my wahoo fitness

N70%
by N####:

GPS and accelerometer data seems to make sense, but the orientation data does not. I'm recording values of pitch that are greater than 90 degrees (or sometimes less than 90 degrees).

N70%
by N####:

Sensor H7 sends RR and stable contact, besides the hr. However, exporting is quite unstable: Timestamp hour for multi day exports rolls over 24 hr, showing correct dates with hour 49, 58 etc in the CSV. Broke down when exporting less than all the 5 blue hr values, since i need just the RR and rarely the hr. Now it stops few records before the end of CSV conversion, seems another SQLite bug.

I had the app for quite some time, recently started using for a project and am vary satisfied. Remember though the app is an app if the sensors on the phone a of low grade well then GIGO.

N70%
by N####:

Had a few issues with this app freezing up. Or crashing..but a clear data..an setting it up correctly helps a bunch. Its well worth the time an energy setting it up!!

P70%

It seems this app has been abandoned. Too many issues to list. Last updated more than a year ago

N70%

Total s*** false readings do not give you proper information

N70%

Useful app. Expands the use of the phone for practical applications.

First, this is very good compared to other HRV apps, but it doesn't pick up most Samsung GS4 sensors, or remember profiles. ALSO, a critical feature for me is buggy. The history is not stored on a file, rather it is in volatile memory until you manually save it. If the app gathered too much data, the app crashes, and ALL history is lost. So, I need to keep looking, because this function is critical for me. Update 1: if you save data again, then erases all old log files. Update 2. Must re-connect to the BLE HRM every time you restart the app, regarless of what happens in between,....and you must do this through a multi-step process. ....having a profile save option may help. Because so many other developers have issues too: +1 star for effort Update 2: I really want this program to work, so I keep experimenting with it. This is only because it shows the variability on a live graph. That's the only advantage this program has over any others (although needs a lot of work) Exporting is miserable, and the checkbox logic is inverted. Back to 1 star

Managed to record some sessions but is now freezing when starting a new session during "Connecting to sensors..."

The Ambient and Device temperature sensors doesn't show any data as well as relative humidity sensor. The rest seems to work great

Sensors Toolbox is a great way to import provided sensor graphs, and to graph your own sensor development by bluetooth and the cheap 4$ ESP8266 chipset.

... For the Surge on a Note3. App looks great but I can't use it for my purpose. Edit: Thank you for your response. I look forward to trying again once fitbit release the API.

P70%
by P####:

But why does the camera stops capturing images after a while ? I use a Xiaomi MI3

N70%
by N####:

Why the app needs so many permissions? It hould not ask for all that data, I suspect that this is some kind of malware.

H70%
by H####:

Armour39 listed but when you click on it it takes you to the Playstore but link is not valid, therefore cannot install what's needed to make it work

M70%
by M####:

Excellent job in collection and export of all of the Android sensors!

G70%

I need an app to record barometric pressure. But this won't be it since it does not recognize my phones barometer.

N70%
by N####:

I recently bought the fitbit surge and want to display my heart rate reading via the senseview app on my Samsung note 4. However, I have simce found out that the surge is not compatible with this app. Are there plans to provide compatibility?

On my G3, I can't go into the apps settings in order to connect it to my Sensordrone - it just freezes complete and I have to force close it. However, the official Sensordrone app works just fine with no issues.

Downloaded the fitbit service. Says to log in for authorisation but nothing happens. Where do i log in my account?

Looks great but I can not link any of my external bike Bluetooth sensor like speed, power or cadence sensor to it .it only reads my heart rate sensor. is this how it supposed to be !? Galaxy S5

Y70%

Looks like a nice app i but couldn't get it to run on Nexus 4. Sensor manager runs but clicking on settings yields black screen and requires force close.
