This app is good but doesn't teach you Japanese but instead lets you memorize it. It doesn't learn you Kanji, Hiragana nor Katakana. It just gives you sentences with English translation that you need to memorize. It doesn't actually give you the meaning of the words. Still a good way to learn Japanese, but only if you've already learnt the basics of Katakana and Hiragana...

It's been 7 minutes and I can already memorise the Japanese numbers up to 30. I'm a slow Learner so this is amazing for me. The only downfall is the more advanced options costs quite a bit.

Great app. I'm going to Japan soon and want to learn how to speak a bit of Japanese but not read or write. Many other apps required learning of characters or didn't teach the most useful terms for travelling. I would like different types of quizzes though rather than just translating from Japanese to English. It would be great to be able to do English to Japanese too. Being able to tag your favourite phrases is fantastic though.

Just took a look at some phrases. Some romaji spacings needs to be fixed. Some romaji for は reads "ha" when it should be "wa," and some phrases when heard in Japanese have different meanings than the English translation.

It's a nice introductory app to learn Japanese basics. Showing the kanji & proper pronunciations being played helps. I like the mini quizzes.

I think it's a great app but there's one problem if your suppose to learn Japanese then you should make the whole thing free otherwise it's a great app and now I'm able to talk to my Japanese friend he can't speak English but I am teaching him so thank you so so so so much

I like the content. It's good as a supplement to other apps, but shouldn't be used on its own if your purpose is to learn the language quite well (as the app focuses mainly on teaching vocabulary and phrases but not grammar, for instance). You also do need Kana knowledge to use it, so I'd recommend its use for people who already have a basic knowledge of the language. So, if you do, download it right away. Another thing which I find interesting is its level division. That's nice.
