It's okay, if you want to know how to pronounce a word or memorize a word. But tagalog has a lot of syntax and doesn't really help you learn the language. There are better apps out there.

This application is a really well designed, well thought out and a useful tool for anyone visiting the Philippines and/or learning Tagalog. I have no hesitation in recommending it's use. Ps. Countries - Need to add Wales, Northern Ireland, Great Britain, United Kingdom.

This app is thought out well. Except developers. You need to seriously sort out the speed. Instead of a button for normal and slow. Put a slider or + or - so it can go a comfrortable sound. Slow is just a slur. I just got fristrated at normal speed. Its way too fast

Only problem is that some of the phrases should be spoken a little slower, so that a beginner can get to grips with the pronunciations but overall good fun.

Born in the Philippines & grew up in the u.s. I never learned my own language. This app works wonderfully for me! I've had a few convos with my mom and she's impressed!

I am a native Tagalog speaker and I have noticed that there are phrases which are not correctly translated. "3:00 PM" should be "Ikatlo ng hapon". "Are you students?" should be "Kayo ba ay mga mag-aaral?" and not "Ikaw ba ay mag-aaral?". The word "Students" is in plural form so it should be "Kayo" and should use "mga". There are still other incorrect translations. People might learn the wrong way...
