Sound Button Widget FREE

I set the sound and now when I press the button, the sound plays. It doesn't open the music player or anything like that, it just plays the sound immediately. This is perfect when you need to play a sound that fits a scenario. I'm sure I'm going to annoy some people with this but they can write their own review.

I installed this app, and ever since getting browser pop ups with fishing scams to DL cleaners and stuff because my phone is "infected." Uninstalled and it went away right away. Also, in order to uninstall I had to find it in the play store again because it didn't show up in my apps list. Total scam

Not "any sound", just things from your music folders. And good freaking luck finding it - every file, just tossed into one mass of nonsense without rhyme or reason. Add a file browser, or a search, or SOMETHING other than a random vomit of whatever. Also, I'd like the option to use an image instead of text. When those features are added, I'll buy the paid version.

It would be a nice if it looked like a button (like the logo above), and not just a colored square.

Unfortunately, you can't even find the button to start this, much less create a sound widget from it.

It does what it says it does, but the button is a flat black rectangle on your home screen. It looks, in a word, terrible. Great functionality, -10 points for form.

It would be even better if it could select a specific time start and stop within the sound file, so you could play part of a song on demand, without manually making a new file. Personally, I've got a whole soundboard of noises that I use at the most opportune times. App works well.

Works fine on my Moto G4 Plus so I installed it on my nephews Nexus 7 and it keeps crashing when I go to choose a sound file... Does this ONLY support sound files from an SD card and NOT from internal storage? (The Moto G4 Plus has an SD card in it, the Nexus 7 has no SD slot)

I can only select from a short list of songs on the device, not an MP3 file from the SD card.

I LOVE this app/widget. All I want is the ability to put a button on my home screen that plays a specific sound file. Every other option I found in the store comes with hundreds of sound effects. I don't want their sound effects. I want my own. The color and transparency options are very nice too. I would like to have an icon (or at least rounded corners) on the home screen widget, but that's a minor quibble (and not worth a ratings star). If al you want is easy access to one (or more) sound files of your own, this is the widget you want!!

Unusuable on my Galaxy S4 running Lollipop. Doesn't appear in app drawer. Will gladly revise this review if the issue is resolved.

Precisely what I was looking for. Had a small hiccup with a sound file but I ran it through a ringtone Maker and it was happy afterwards.

This app is perfect for Halloween. It is so simple and made the monster sounds work beautifully. I went from having my sounds play on an uncontrollable loop on a CD to creating a whole slew of different queue - able growls, snarls and roars. Thanks, you made my front porch sound awesome

Nexus 5, Lollipop. Also, Does not support "any sound file from your SD card". The file I want to use is in a directory with .nomedia. It should have a proper file picker. Also: visually appealing button design?! Those buttons in the screenshots are extremely, objectively, ugly.

Use it for annoying indecisive people with the Final Jeopardy music ;-)

This app is great and does just what the developer says it does. If you want a "hot button" for a sound effect on your phone this app is perfect. If not, don't download it and leave a bad review because it doesn't do more than it claims. To do so would be completely pointless and not as expected.

Widget setup failed every time I tried. If it had worked I might have paid for the paid version. I just want a button on my home page to moo.
