About Compline - Night Prayer
In this application from the Book of Hours is just the Compline (night prayer) and the Invitatory, which opens the liturgy of the hours of a day.
New: Liturgia Horarum (Latin-only) including all the hours.
English, German, Latin, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Portuguese (Brazilian), Polish. Change in Preferences / Language.
You can also read part of the prayer in a different language. Use Preferences / Alternate Language and click on the Red Titles.
Diurnal bilingual: Display two languages side by side for tablets.
New Font selection with all system fonts and own (copy new fonts to /sdcard/fonts/).
Day change: Time for individual daily changes to pray after midnight the Compline of the day before.

Nexus 10 4.3. Downloaded August 8, 2013 version -- my first experience with this app. It is beautiful and will benefit anyone who enjoys compline. There are several options to set in the program. Saint Benedict helped the inclusion of compline into the divine office and I think he would thank the developer for his work. Praying compline completes the day. This is a great app to have on your device.

Everything is in German when the app opens. I had difficulty finding how to get to the English translation and had to contact the developer. No big really, because he got back to me really fast. Here's how to set up for a language other than German. Press "Einstellungen" (Preferences), scroll to and press "Sprache" (Language), select one of the languages listed and you're pretty much done. Overall it's a very nice app. Thanks.

It's the best breviary app available right now, with options that other apps don't have, e.g. night mode, volume-button scroll, english-latin touch-switch, etc. However, it only includes Invitatory & Compline.

I was impressed at first, but all the prayers have been the same ones for WEEKS, if not months. I have uninstalled, reinstalled 3 or 4 times, and the prayers never change. I've done LOTH for a few years now, and I know the prayers are supposed to change daily.
