L'Association Sur les Pas des Huguenots - Genève (SPH-Ge) vous souhaite la bienvenue en terres genevoises et se réjouit de vous accompagner sur ce cheminement balisé en collaboration avec GenèveRando jusqu'à sa limite avec les terres vaudoises.

Tout au long de votre cheminement, à des endroits particuliers, grâce à cette application, vous obtiendrez notamment des informations relatives à des personnalités porteuses des idées nouvelles de la Réforme et plus généralement à celles qui ont grandement contribué au développement de Genève et auxquelles l'Association Sur les pas des Huguenots - Genève veut rendre hommage, tout comme aux milliers d'autres personnes anonymes qui ont fui sur ce chemin.

Ces personnalités sont issues de familles réfugiées à Genève pour cause de religion aux XVIe et XVIIe siècle ou alliées à celles-ci, ou issues de familles genevoises de souche, passées très tôt à la Réforme.

Le choix des personnalités retenues, quand bien même il suit de près l'Histoire, ne se prétend pas exhaustif, en raison des limites imposées par le cadre de notre projet.

En vous proposant de découvrir ou redécouvrir, en marchant sur ce chemin de mémoire, le précieux héritage que Genève a reçu de celles et ceux qu'elle a accueillis naguère, l'Association SPH-Ge espère contribuer à en faire un chemin de mémoire vivante et de tolérance pour aujourd'hui. Throughout your journey, at particular locations, thanks to this application, you will get particular information relating to carrier personalities of the new ideas of the Reformation, and more generally to those who have contributed to the development of Geneva and to which the Association in the footsteps of the Huguenots - Geneva pays tribute, like the thousands of anonymous people who have fled this way.

These figures are from refugee families in Geneva for religion in the sixteenth and seventeenth century or allied to them, or from Geneva families strain, passed early in the Reformation.

The choice of selected personalities, even though it follows closely the history, not intended to be exhaustive, due to the limitations imposed by our project.

By offering you to discover or rediscover, walking on the memory path, the precious heritage that Geneva has received from those she once received, the SPH-Ge Association hopes to help make a living memory lane and tolerance for today.
