The app allows you to name a recording site, set a recording format (.wav or .flac), select a recording schedule, and initiate a recording session, by accessing the Configure, Schedule, and Run screens. In the main screen, you can see the number of recordings that have been collected, and go to the recordings list screen to manage your recordings.
Arbimon Touch is designed to work with our Arbimon II bioacoustics analysis platform. You can sync with a site in your Arbimon II project by using a QR token. This will enable automatic uploading if the device has an internet connection during a recording session. You can also upload recordings directly from the app using the upload button on the recordings list. If you do not have an internet connection, or do not want to sync with an Arbimon II site, recordings can be easily transferred to another device via USB for permanent storage and then later upload your recordings to the Arbimon II.
For long-term monitoring of soundscape, this App is what I have longed for for many years. Can this App work with any brand of USB microphones compatible with Android, e.g., iRig Mic Studio or iRig Duo Pro? Or, do you have any recommendation?
This app is awesome!!
