MHz Choice

Great programs but they need to work on the technical aspects. Constantly crashing or streaming if not that then it's asking for me to login after every episode. The login screen is thru my email very inconvenient

9/24/2017: Anyone else having issues with app constantly crashing? For the last three days it's been buffering or crashing every few minutes - plus it keeps making me log in - 12+ times so far! Try to binge on a couple Italian favs and I am so frustrated! I love MHz - watched religiously when it was a cable channel and when I "cut the cord" it was the only thing I missed. I have been reporting when halfway through a program (Young Montalbano) it crashes and I have to back out of everything and reboot my Chrome Cast - this doesn't happen on any other app I currently use with Cast. Please fix and you WILL get 5 stars.

Love the programming selection -- currently binge-watching "A French Village" -- BUT . . . from time to time the app will tell me I'm not connected to the internet when I definitely am, and the only workaround I can come up with is to uninstall and reinstall. Tres ennuyant.

Great international content that I watch on my TV with screen mirroring. My only streaming subscription.

You must pay a monthly fee to watch any shows!! Very miss leading!! Uninstalling!!!

MHZ Choice is a great app for foreign language shows, especially mysteries. Has programming not available elsewhere and a huge selection of shows.

Terrible app. I love the MHz shows on pbs yet the free trial isn not free & the app is irksome. All in all not worth the monthly fee, especially since the free trial is not actually free

Lots of problems with this version. If your Wi-Fi drops and reconnects, videos start over from the beginning which us very annoying. It will not pick up where it left off. Downloading videos frequently crashes the app. Wish videos could be stored on external memory card. Very unstable performance. Have to go back to watching on a desktop.

I like being able to watch foreign programs. Could be a little more user-friendly but, the variety is great. Very reasonable cost, too.

I love the intriguing shows of MHz Int'l Mysteries! I had to leave my Virginia home where this cable channel aired. I was having withdrawls; thank heavens for the app!! Now I can watch anywhere, anytime. Than you, MHz!

Downloaded app, attempted to login...repeatedly. No way to enter PW, contacted support several days ago, told there was a bug in login, would notify when fixed. Until it's fixed the app should be pulled and MHz users notified that there's a bug. I wonder if positive reviews refer to non-Android app...

I've been a subscriber for a few months, without complaint. Tonight it wouldn't work on my galaxy 3. Of course this is the weekend and help is not available until Monday. I've tried all the usual troubleshooting, rebooting, reinstalling and all the other things that cost hours of time. I would rather enjoy this time relaxing with a movie. This has become commonplace with these subscriptions. Go figure!

I love this way to watch the great mysteries and adventures from Europe.So many great series and programs.Binge watching is so fun, no commercials, high quality.

I used to watch many of these MHz foreign mysteries on a local TV channel and I was very upset when they no longer carried the program. Very happy to see them again on an app where I can watch them anytime on my phone or tablet. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and the colorful characters of many of these shows. Well worth paying the small monthly fee! Hope to see the app available soon on my Smart tv.

New app version does not show any episodes. You are supposed to click on a series and then see the episodes. Despite a good connection, it doesn't work. The "contact support" link only opens the email app, but without an address. Very poor situation.

I have done internet searches for this type of streaming service and finally found it! (Thanks to a little help from a redhead, K.H., and his FB post). Anyway, I love DCI shows, murder mysteries, and such. And I love the European version of such shows. I found a few on Hulu and Netflix. But with MHZ I found the Mother load!! Their setup is a bit different from most, but it was easy to figure out. Have had no problem with the streaming. I feel like I've died and gone to heaven with MHZ!

Works beautifully now so I get to enjoy all the wonderful programs MHZ offers.

You can't find episodes any longer with this app. This really needs to be fixed.

Excellent series from Europe. Quite different from what we watch everyday. Highly recommended.

The content is absolutely fantastic. A very, very nice update of the app.

My wife and I love MHz, and their MHz Choice service is great. But in order to watch on our big TV, we need to connect our Android smartphone to it (using an MHL cable). Then we found that not all browsers worked successfully with MHz, but that the UC browser did the best job. Now, we've installed the new, dedicated MHz Android app, and it works pretty well except for some momentary (and annoying) freeze-ups that we never experienced using the browser. No doubt, MHz will work the kinks out of the new app before too long.
