Network Tools II is an Android application created with a simple idea:
1) Define some Internet-connected resources and equipment like websites, servers, smart devices, surveillance systems that will be monitored.
2) Define time intervals when this equipment should be monitored.
3) Have an alert as soon as possible when this equipment stops working.
Network Tools II works like a watchdog. It sits in your pocket and monitors the equipment whose trouble-free operation is important to you. It uses the Android system scheduler and consumes zero CPU when it is not active. The application notifies you when the trouble appears, probably even before you or somebody else may discover it.

I am lowering my rating to 1* as after over 6 months of existence you still cannot define tests for SMTP over SSL, imap or pop3 (neither plain nor SSL) which makes this app quite useless but pricy toy

This app is boring, complicated, and over priced. I have had your apps before and liked them... I bought your PRO version. It took me 20 minutes to get the app settings set up to even scan. Disappointing. And it was passed the 10 minute mark for refund. I am really disappointed.

I know battery killer but really need to identify a problem, disconnects but only for 10 to 30 seconds then OK again, so this misses most, could it have as low a 10 seconds, no App seems to log like that.

Network Tools 1 won't export anything but an empty 0k XML file, most likely because it Only exports to SD card, and my Nexus 5 uses a virtual one. But that means no way to import all my hosts. I also find this version Very unintuitive, overly complex, and without the ability to import my hosts, I'll probably just uninstall it. The original did more, with less hassle. A shame.

Very nice update! Was not able to restore hosts from old version. Did not like how the limitations in the free version are not clearly stated. Great interface and developer. Thanks!

If fontsize could be changed then it would be absolutely perfect. Checked 10 similiar apps nothing even near to this. I understand that it is not simple. Thank You for your response. I shall repeat that I understand that it is not simple.

This has been a great app, helping me to monitor Network services remotely and satisfy my clients better. Good job guys
