This widget was developed first of all for Bluetooth devices, which do not report the battery level through Bluetooth protocol, but it is compatible with all Bluetooth devices, that support A2DP or Headset profiles. Do not be disappointed if you were looking for an app which can display battery level from a headset itself through Bluetooth protocol - this widget is not supposed to do it.
If your Android device does not correctly report Bluetooth playing state, "Force A2DP detection" feature should help, but note that this feature will not force the widget to update immediately when you start or stop playing music, but widget will count time accurately and display correct playing status after every periodic update (every minute). So just wait about one minute after you start or stop playing music, the widget should display correct status, it will not effect on the accuracy of counting battery life, just a short lag of displaying correct state for devices which does not act according to Android documentation.
Write external storage permission is used only for write and read widget's backups.
Internet access permission is required only for displaying advertisements. There are no advertisements in PRO version and it does not require this permission.
ATTENTION for Xposed Framework Users!
If you are using ad-blocking software which works through Xposed Framework, it may conflict with widget configuration dialog and hide buttons bar. If you encounter this problem - try to disable ad-blocking for this app or buy PRO version.
I'm using a JBL Clip speaker. I tried force AD2P, no difference. I was actively using my phone monitoring the widget. I use the latest Nova Launcher beta. There are no battery saving features active while the phone is in use and Doze will not run while music is playing. Other widgets work fine.
Not a real indicator of remaining operating time.
Nothing is automated a stop watch app is just as good.
I should pay you, as in give you hard earned money, just to show me how much battery life my headset has left? Get a job!
I can't found the widget
From all the other monitors this one have given me the best results so far. SUGGESTION for A.D. :According to my headphone manufacturer, the headphones are in stand by only when not connected to any device, therefore it would be nice to have an option to see the devices as "active" all the time and avoid going in standby for a more accurate remaining time. I tried the option of forcing A2DP but it didn't help. Thank you UPDATE: thank you for the implementation of the suggestion !
To show batt level ask for pro. Ie; money fk off. Unistalling now.
Good for ones who don't mind manual setups
Hated it. It is simply a timer of the Bluetooth device and not a true level indicator as with an android wear watch or like you have on an iPhone. Therefore i rate it 1 star. It should be called Bluetooth timer. Which i could do myself with my device timer. (A note to the developer...talking down to your customers to get a better rating is not going to get you very far. I have my reasons to rate it 1 star without insinuating i didn't read the manual. Deal with it)
It's just an useless stop watch, it doesn't show your Bluetooth headset battery, but you yourself set it time and this app works like an stop watch for you. Make a real app man.
No widget, no setting option, nothing. Only help page show up.
It does not work. There is no widget even after reset so bad
Have to pay to get it to work
