ezPDF Reader PDF Annotate Form

I bought it Just for this feature because I don't want others to read my personal things (when I upload something online to be converted). I didn't knew has the ability to read through TTS which.... is a BIG plus, but, then again, it should have had. Developer, Please consider to fix this and I'll come back and give it the well deserved Five Stars. Thank you. Failed to save 3-4 hours of work. Now what?

Please fix current crashing issues upon opening. It worked so well until my Samsung Chromebook Plus updated itself and now it won't work at all (this hasn't affected any of my other Android apps on the Chromebook). This shouldn't have so many problems for being such a reliable app in the past. Please fix!

As a cover musician of over 800 songs, I use a tablet that has everything arranged in PDF format. I love the daytime/nighttime mode depending on when and where I'm performing and this app is the most compatible with my Bluetooth pedal page turner device. UPDATE 8/12/17: The pro version started crashing yesterday on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A. I noticed a similar complaint posted here yesterday. Please fix as I depend on this app when performing live music and can't afford for it to be crashing in the middle of a song.

Works well to read cross stitch charts which is why I bought this app. Not sure how else it works, or how to mark off stitches Ive done. Never really sat down to read the info thou. Im guessing its me stuck in the traditional mode of paper using! I like how it zooms easily and the page flips too.

DO NOT BUY. This app will not open or function so I stopped using it. I try periodically but the app will not function even though I switched phones from HTC 816 to Samsung Galaxy J7 Perx. Waste of money. No customer service.

A bad UI/UX experience. While the app has some unique features it violates common UI/UX patterns and even five years after I've bought it this didn't improve at all. The persistent toolbar cannot be removed although individual buttons can be hidden. Scrolling is is not smooth even on modern powerful CPUs. Uninstalling it one more time. Disappointing.

Great product. Feature request: please implement option to use black font on white background for book titles when browsing pdf files ("All files"). On an ereader the font is currently light gray on white which is extremely hard to read - in particular if I am trying to find a title among many. THANKS!

Was one of my favourite apps but no longer works since Android Oreo came along. Instant app crash on running, even reinstalling it didn't help. Please fix and then I will re-rate! Until then, completely non-functional.

best for embedded multimedia. Except that video controls don't work AND STILL DON'T 4 months later!!!. I've tried a few PDF readers and this is one of the few that supports audio/video the only one that makes embedded video visible! And great developer response to a problem but not others (the video playback controls are currently broken!)

Been using this for years, but one of the updates made it impossible to hide the toolbar. The documentation I find online is for older versions and I'm getting frustrated. Time to find a new, simpler reader?

I love it except the voice-reading command on the comment/note menu bar is right next to the command "open", this is a problem when I'm in a meeting and I want to open a comment/note, I've hit the voice-reading option by mistake and my comment is read outloud in a meeting. I would appreciate being able to rearrange the order setup on this comment/note on the bar/menu to the order I would like them to appear on the comment bar, or the option of removing it. Because of this embarrassment I am considering using another app as I worry about this happening all the time. Please do something about this?

The app is great when considering the amount of features it includes. However, I'm constantly losing my progress with highlighting, notes, etc. because of the constant crashing. It's very unstable and irritating to use.

It's a great PDF reader for Android. Not so great as a PDF annotator. The cut function doesn't work! You need a paid app called ezPDF Cup installed in order to cut or move sections of the PDF. Unfortunately, this app currently causes ezPDF Reader to crash! Attention to devs of both apps, please get this thing worked out so that the cut function works!! Then, I can give this app another 2 stars.

Fine with lots of good options. However, it crashes so frequently. It could be my phone - Android 5.1 or the kernel or something. I don't know.. but it crashes alllll the time. Otherwise, when it works it's fine and the UI and options are good

Was great! I've used it for years. But since the last update on my Pixel XL, it crashes every time I try to view available PDFs. I'm using the paid-for premium version, but it basically has become useless now...

I have to adjust my previous comment. The app works again without problem on Motorola Xoom. Motorola xoom I used to use highlighting quite often and without an any problem. Recently it started causing problems. It is very difficult and uncomfortable to select a text. I am wondering if it is just mine experience or if it is more common.. it disqualifies the app considerably in my eyes and I would hesitate to recommend it. It seems that Adobe free app can do the same that this. Rgds

Good app for pdf. Almost everything you can do in pdf. But does not update frequently. Last update was on 27th Feb and today is 29th July. 5 months no update. No new features were inserted. Can't read . Epub format. It hangs to load .Epub. If you purchase like honest person you will become neglected person.

I like this app a lot... however, i have one issue and maybe somebody can help me. I recently purchased a Samsung tab s3. I have a pdf document with editable fields on an sd card. I open it with the ez pdf, edit fields and then go to close out. It asks me to save, i hit save and it "fails to save the document". What am i doing wrong? On my old Samsung note 10.1, never had a problem.

Used to be more useful than it is now. Now it's bloated with features that I don't want (editing) which have made the app unstable and unresponsive. It was better when it prioritized READING a PDF, which on a tablet is all I want to do.

Update May 2017, Rendering has improved.I have no idea why this app, when its specialty is supposed to be PDF files, is so slow on rendering pages, and yes, I've used the pre-rendering feature and still is quite slow if you want to browse quickly through a few pages. It is a shame because everything else is so good about it, great features and customizations about the presentation of the files. If speed is improved I'll give this app a 5 star but for now 3 stars until developer addresses speed issue.

Very powerful and fully featured PDF viewer but the UI, controls and tools are very unintuitive. It doesn't follow any one design structure and parts of it look very dated in 2017.

Sometimes it just shows the outlines of a document, which is really frustrating. this doesn't happen with other pdf readers. If wasn't for that I would rate 5....

Update: does not work with Oreo. Was looking for a PDF reader for manuals and technical books on my tablet that understood bookmarks and hyperlinks. This was the only one that handled them correctly. Unfortunately, it appears the Unidocs is no longer maintaining this app as the last update was over a year ago. If you have already bought this, a workaround is to use another file manager to open pdf files with ezPDF reader. They will open in the app and all the app features will work. The problem is with the file listing portion of Android 8.0 which causes ezPDF reader to crash when trying to display the list of pdfs on the device. If you haven't already purchased this app, best bet is to find something else at this time.

Was a good app on note.... Constantly crashes on pixel xl still no fix... Very disappointing for a paid user

This app is very good, I paid for it, but I do not like the fact that after one of the updates, it began not work when not signed in to Google. This is annoying.

This app has some very good features for annotation of documents. They can be made and deleted if needed. But as someone who uses the app for language learning, the multimedia feature is potentially useful, but glitchy at the moment. I can't see any way to import a previously made audio file, and if I record directly into the PDF there does not appear to be any way to delete the file in case of error! (rendering the multimedia feature quite useless as I do not want purposeless file markers left on the PDF pages). Most useful to me would be a way to import audio files to accompany the text, and also the ability to delete them. I do like the player control that comes up when a recording has been made, but without the features I need it is pointless.

Good app.. opens even large files fast. Cons- interface looks old. update with material design guidelines.. modern look is lacking.. option to easily undo annotations would be nice.

Absolutely best PDF reader that is available for serious readers who read lots of study books along with lots of annotations. I read lots of study books on my tablet so I have tried and tested almost every PDF reader available on play store but no one even comes even close. Believe me. Thank to creators. Only one suggestion, in highlight option to change a colour of highlighter we have to tap on the current colour on the top bar then it shows the colour wheel and recent selection of colours. It would be very nice if we get the recently selected colours directly on top bar as we can simply change the colour of highlighter on single tap. Thank you again.

NOTE: Copy fails only on VERTICAL text. It works fine for HORIZONTAL text. Unfortunately, I use it mostly for vertical Japanese text, so it's not very useful right now,,,,,,This was a 5-star app, but copy doesn't work properly anymore. I used to be able to highlight a word, then later touch the highlight and select "copy" to copy the word to the clipboard. Now I can still highlight words, but if I later touch the highlight and select "copy" it does NOTHING. It doesn't copy, it doesn't show an error, it just does nothing. Selecting is also a pain in the a$$, because it selects a WHOLE LINE rather than just the characters you are selecting. It should work more like the highlight feature. With both of these features failing to work properly, the app is much less useful as a study tool.

Pls enable save annotation on external SD card....I've been using this app for many years, now looks like i'm moving to XODO, it allows me to save annotations on ext SD card

Since I installed nougat on my Samsung s2 tab, I have flickering. Can you please optimize?

good, annotation, highlight, multiple pdf, auto crop not available, while selecting text for highlight page turns, this is very bad. Background color change not available, no night mode.

I wanted a really good pdf viewer because alot of what i read are tech manuals. This is supreme for its options. If there are better i didnt find it because i used the secretary formula hahaha. Have a good one

One of my must-have apps. Great features and very functional on all of my devices. I will give 5 stars if it incorporates a good file manager feature to quickly locate the files I want to open without forcing me to sort through every pdf file on my device.

It's a good app for viewing pds files but the app wilk not let you save the file with a different file name. The save as feature just doesnt work on note 8

This program works wonderfully on the Android devices, so I won't mark it down because it constantly crashes on my Samsung Chromebook Plus. But it does an I hope you'll fix it soon because I really like reading and annotating PDFs with this app.

I bought this app due to great reviews and trying the lite version but I never got to use it because it crashed immediately unable to be opened now. Really disappointed.

Used to be AMAZING, but hasn't been able to view or annotate pdfs on SD card since Google required creators get permission from users. The company can't be bothered to add this feature to a program that's alreafy paid for.

What do you do when the undo button freezes. Can't seem to open a document when it has been open before. Otherwise it could be useful.

Faster and more stable than in the past. QA before update role out seems better as updates no longer introduce more bugs than they solve. Great app.
