Everything works and looks great except one thing. For a while now (months), when you try to filter an article at 0 or above it gives the error "End of input at character 0 of". This happens regardless of the article you are trying to filter. All other filters seem to work as expected.

I love slashdot and i get their newsletter already. I DO NOT like the reading layout. There are no breaks or paragraphs which makes it difficult to read. Great idea just executed poorly.

Q70%
by Q####:

The comment section isn't nested and you can't log in to post comments. This app isn't very useful. The comments are the point of Slashdot.

Use this every day on my subway commute. THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING A DECENT OFFLINE NEWS READER!!!!!

Works perfect. Normally I go thru /. on the way to work and are online.. but it refreshed before going offline it works perfect

Can you please fix a spelling mistake in the text that gets put in the body of the email when sharing Slashdot article with friends via Gmail - thanks!

Q70%

Simple, reliable Slashdot reader. Using it for months with no problem whatsoever.

Q70%
by Q####:

There is certain basic functionality that i'd expect from any useful slashdot reader: ability to filter comments based on moderation rating (yes); offline caching (yes); view a comment thread, which is often necessary for context (no); way to remove articles i don't care about or am finished with, i.e. a kill filter (no). Any other features are gravy. To be fair, there is no slashdot reader available that does _not_ lack basic functionality by my standards. But lack of a better choice doesn't make this one useful.

5 star app. Not a battery pig. Pulls from Slashdot seemlessly. I have one request: the link/highlight color is a difficult to read blue color. I would like a way to change the link color to something easier to read. Thank you.

Q70%
by Q####:

Works OK with a light load, and looks nice doing it, but ask it to do too much (too many stories at too deep a level) and it'll force close. Limit seems to be about 5 meg of data. (Edit: raised star level to indicate how much I like it anyway when dev fixes it, as he acknowledges!)

Q70%
by Q####:

Every few times I try to scroll up or down the comments section, it triggers the next or previous article. There is far too little horizontal movement required to swipe between articles. For that reason I will not use this app until this issue is fixed

Q70%
by Q####:

This app has all of the features to allow you to easily read slashdot articles. I love the swiping features as well as the background color changer.

G70%
by G####:

They won't disable swiping by default each new update adds more bugs

I've used about 3 other Slashdot readers and this one is the best by far. I like that closing the app doesn't clear the feed. This way I can go back to read something later if I had to put my phone away. They always tell you what's being updated and ask for opinions before implementing them. There's so many good thing about this app I don't even have enough space to type it all out. Anything less than 4 stars is a troll.

I've tried a few. This ones great. Retro icons ftw.

Needs a couple of minor changes which I emailed the developer about. Very stable

V70%

It doesn't refresh on open. Works fine otherwise.

Great app! But wondering if you could offer a gray on gray reading mode, like simply slashdot has? You could even do a raincloud symbol.

Recommended. Developer has been helpful to provide information and updates in my experience.

Very good reader, best slashot reader by far. The only slight issue I have is the sensitivety of the article swiping. It's too easy to accidentally do it while scrolling. Though obviously it can be disabled Edit: this issue has been changed since the last update. Phenominal app

Slashdot mobile site is a disgrace. Possible to log on and comment via your app, like various twitter apps?

Y70%

I read the things on it

Y70%

Recommended. Developer has been helpful to provide information and updates in my experience. However new xkcd function seems strange and unnecessary (in principle) and doesn't work (in reality)... Today it filtered down to three stories, none of which show any comments at the literary comment level. Perhaps because comment level -1 is not possible in the app

Y70%

Definitely not ready for prime time. Don't believe the 5 star overall rating.
