About Behavior Tracker

Need to track the behavior of pupils or children in your care? Then this app is for you! Designed by experienced school leaders and suitable for practitioners from nursery to secondary education, including SEND, Behavior Tracker enables professionals to effectively collect, track and analyse behavioural information of pupils in their setting. Gone are the days of written reminders on paper that get lost, hauling around large files or relying on our own flawed memories! It's in the app; it's there, secure and ready when you are.

This download entitles you to try behavior tracker for free with a limited amount of behavior instances recorded and limited reporting. The full version, which you can buy within the app removes these limitations.

Behavior Tracker allows you to:

track pupils from multiple classes
easily record observations with a date and time stamp
access a range of preset positive and negative behaviours
swiftly add customised behaviours
amend and edit records as required
add qualitative notes to records
view evidence as an ongoing running log
produce graphical reports
print* reports

Preset behaviors that cover a wide range of positive and negative actions can be easily used to record observations over time and viewed as a running log. As well as using the preset behaviours, the user can add customised behaviours that they may have observed and wish to track. Additionally, further notes can be added to provide more qualifying information about each observation.

Behavior Tracker will produce reports on each selected pupil, or group of pupils, providing a greater overview and understanding of pupil behaviour and enabling the user to identify trends over time. With printing support* you can create hard copies for archival purposes - ideal for meetings with parents or fellow professionals.

This app is free to trial, allowing you to test the app on up to five children, and run limited reporting. A one-time in-app purchase will unlock all the features. The purchase is tied to your Google/Corporate account, and so will last a lifetime.

Behavior Tracker was created by Brooklyn Software - http://www.brooklynsoftware.co.uk - a collaboration between App designers and school leaders. We also make apps for schools for Android, Kindle and iOS.

Allow us to set behaviors and stock them so that they can be selected whenever a behavior happens for any child. I don't want to have to type in a behavior for each kid each time. It is better to have one list for everyone as well a list for specific kids behaviors. It makes it to vumbersome to use because of something so simple.

I would like to give this app 5 stars but I honestly feel with my upgrade to the full version I should have a lot more features and look alot more appealing. I think this app has so much potential and I just started a reward system in our home for our boys and this would be an excellent addition/companion to that, but it's slightly uninteresting. If that could be upgraded and some creative additions for people who paid for Full Vervice I would be happy to update to 5 stars!

I like that you can edit behavior (and add comments) add past months behavior, and it records good and bad behavior. All I need in one simple, easy to use, quiet, app. Thank you!

Love it! Disappointed however that I can't get it for my iPad! I want to buy the full version for work! Any chance of this happening? I would use it all the time!

I purchased $3.99 this app today and found that the spelling of the name is spelled Behaviour Tracker on my phone yet on the google play it's spelled Behavior Tracker not sure this is going to be a good start to this app for me. giving it 3 stars only because I'm just starting out with this app

I had just started using it and tonight when I went to add a positive for good behavior the past was gone... Actually everything even the individuals were no more. Can't rely on something where all the information could be gone any moment.

Wish I could individualize reports a bit more. Love that reports are date range specific and calculate positive and negative behaviors

Just started using the app and encountered an issue opening widget. It opens one time but I have to remove and re-add to use widget a second time. Disappointing.

Tricks you into thinking it could be helpful but unless you want to buy it it is worthless. Deleted within 5 mins of downloading

This app is great but I wish you could group the students per class. I have different classes and it would make tracking easier

Could do with a bump note system and an email link to send reports to parents but otherwise does the job well

Can only add 1 child's for free, have to pay for full version, but then you can only input 3!

Amazingly easy and fast to record behaviours. Quick to print out records, discrete and private.

I bought the full version cause I really think it will come in handy

Love the app and very useful to track behavior. Have problem with editing dates. App allows to update for future dates, but not go back to a past date. The older version allowed a past date to be chosen. Really liked that feature, can it be added back?

U70%

Disappointed. The app looks good but sample does not work at all so can't tell. Annoyed that I wasted my time...

I would like to be able to sync this to my husband's phone so that he can see and also keep track of our children's behavior without having to have his own separate app. If this is possible please let me know how. That is my only complaint, other than that I love the app and it is helping out a lot.

U70%
by U####:

Would be nice to have an optional sound that played as u entered behaviors. Tada! For positive. Dull sound for negative behavior. This would be an incentive for the child, not knowing if it was them getting the good or bad remark or someone else.

F70%

Well worth the full version price. Love being able to log both positive and negative behavior in real-time, with detailed notes. The reports feature is great for watching trends in behavior.

I have a 6 year old daughter who will be a great leader/boss one day. Right now I want to tone down her "I want it my way" attitude. So far so good thanks to this app.

X70%

I like the idea of the app. I purchased it because I have 3 kids and the sample only worked for 1 kid. I'm disappointed because when I run a report the pie graphs don't seem to work. All I have is a rundown of the points and their descriptions but my kids are too young to read so I would have liked to show them the pie graph so they can see how they have behaved.

U70%

I frequently observe students so that the school in which I work can have a basis for further evaluation. This saves me from having to hand write and then type up the observation I submit. Less paper wasted is always a win!

U70%

As a teacher I'm using the app to record the behavioural incidents of 100 learners. I have only been using it for 2 weeks now, and I find that it's a lot slower than I was expecting it to be.

Love the app but would be great if I could import data in to Polaris. So I can break down the data more. Using this for my autistic daughter to track hwr behaviors.

I need something for parents to use at home. My son is autistic and this did not work for us at all.

F70%
by F####:

REALLY NEED NEUTRAL. I use this to do family assessments. Sometimes things aren't positive or negative, they are just events. Please please knock out an upgrade with neutral, probably with grey colour. Also, don't add sounds. Last thing we need is alerting those we are watching, it would ruin an assessment. Hopefully a new version out soon. Please hurry!

I would give this app 5 stars if there was an option to autoback-up, ability to share the list that can be edited by both parents/teacher, and had a token system to be more interactive with the child. I think if the child could visually see his progress and be apart of his behaviour modification by using a token system, he would be more willing to make good choices.

U70%

Doesn't allow for adding behaviors.

Very useful in over coming bad behaviors and keeping track of both positive and negitive behaviors.
