Even if this had become the best app ever created I can't give you more than 3 stars. It was left to rot the in a broken, forgotten state for far too long. Having a functional app is literally the lowest hurdle to clear.
Despite the app update saying we can now use limitless it still throws up an error saying limitless isn't available. Back to booking on my computer. Utterly useless.
Odeon has two related products "Premiere" & "Limitless" except, what, where, no Limitless on the app. So if you want to book the tickets using this...you can't! Please add seeing as it's a relevant product, otherwise Pointless!
Since the last update it no longer shows if a special screening like The Rocky Horror Show & Back To The Future trilogy is on at any cinema. Another update & it has got worse.
The app is horrendous to use. Not user friendly in the slightest. Very glitchy and constantly times out. Trying to book any tickets is awful. When it kicks you out the system, the seat you were booking shows as taken, which is no good for anyone!
A hundred times better than it was a year ago.

So glad Odeon upgraded their app. Easy to use, links well to my Limitless and Premier Card accounts. Near perfect. 2 issues.... as we cant book tickes for another Limitless member, it would be helpful to see the row numbers when you book seats, not after so we can share that with our friends. Or make it possible to book for other limitless members.
App worked a treat until recently (guessing android update). App will now not log me in and when it does I am unable to apply limitless to ticket purchases. Was good whilst it lasted but just takes up space on my phone now.
* Update. At last an update and it works. It does not appear to save my username and password like before. One thing that would make this better would be the ability to pay using PayPal.* I use to use this app all the time to book my seats but since I've downloaded it to my new phone I can't see the times of the films or book anything. Please sort this issue out or revert to an older version that worked.
I want to see a list of all of the film's on this week, and if there's something worth seeing I'll decide which day to go. I used to be able to do that with the app, but since it was updated you only show what's on each day individually. Useless. At least the web site still gives the weekly list, although it's less convenient and I check it less often.
Always errors when making a booking, so have to use the website. Really slow when attempting to book and can't book 2 tickets with separate limitless cards... Can do so much better, take a look at Cineworld
Installed, opened the app, immediate scrolling issues, rendering problems, couldn't be bothered to go further uninstalled. Piece of advice get yourself a half decent app developer team that can do the basics well. It's a loss of business!
The app would be ace if it works. However, whenever I try and book a film it won't allow me to use my limitless membership even though it tells me I'm a limitless member. I have tried logging in and out, unistalling and reinstalling the app but it still doesn't work. As a result I still have to go on the website to book my tickets! And no one can seem to tell me what the issue is
I can't reserve anything online if I'm logged in. But if I choose to do it a guest it work. I have limitless card that basically I can't even use online. What is that about. Very frustrating. please fix
Before the last update, you could see if free tickets/vouchers could be used. Now have to use internet and website. This needs to be reinstated.
Edit* 24/7 still not able to use my #limitless to purchase my tickets!! Have to go back to the mobile page! Being a limitless member for some reason every time I go to book a ticket it says I can't. Most recently today as trying to book Independence Day had to go to the mobile site instead and went straight through! On a positive not at least the app now loads but it's pointless until I can book with limitless!
I could see more movies without having to scroll down, the pictures on this are now too big and it's off-putting! Can still book online but there's more hoops to jump now.
Much better app actually usable... however I miss having my favourite cinemas selected... I have two odeons near me so have to keep swapping them back and forth.. :(
I have today tried to book using the app. As a limitless customer I thought it would be straightforward. Foolish me. Nowt but hassle. Every seat I picked I got the same response that my limitless was not available for this film. I contacted guest services who said it was a server problem and that I should completely log out and try again in half an hour. I did what they said and got the exact same result. If it's going to be this difficult to book a ticket is it really worth all the hassle. Sort the app out
I tried several times to book via the app tickets for myself and at the end they say that my limitless is not available for this movie (always choose 2D). For some movie ot works and for other don't. I'm obliged to go via the website to book. That's super annoying and bad service. I booked "Independence day" for tomorrow 12.01am 2D and couldn't via the app. Had to go through the website. So bad...
Can't see future releases/dates like you could on the old app therefore making it impossible to see events like Screen Unseen so have to use website. Booking is incredibly slow too and often times out, also why can't gift cards be redeemed with limitless like they can on the site?
Update. App still rubbish. Mussing psges. Doesnt work with unlimited card....As in the previous review, WHY has the iPhone got this extra premier card barcode display function and the Android version NOT? Come on Odeon, this was noted six months ago, time you pulled your finger out and updated the version that sixty percent of your customers are using.... Deducted two stars for this omission. p.s. If you want an Android developer to sort this out for you then send me an email....
So the app has gone from not supporting Limitless cards to appearing to support them but it doesn't work. As a software engineer myself, I struggle to see how this app could have been released in this state and been left that way for weeks.
The app is good but I have a limitless account but cannot book any film using it. Can book through the website but not the app, makes it pretty much useless for me
Works on MM now however there are no films listed on Advance dates!? Had to go to the website... Pointless!
Took ages for it to come up in first place then even though was able to put in booking details did not allow me to apply limitless. This app needs a very strong internet connection to work. I was able to book using the mobile website through my browser in 2 min but was trying for over 10 mins with the app before I gave up. Uninstalling. Will continue to use website instead.
The apps been refreshed and it's much better now. Unfortunately I can't book with my limitless card. No reason is given for that.
Worked great at first but very quickly stopped allowing me to make my Limitless bookings with the app - I have to use a computer to book now which is inconvenient. Odeon customer services seem clueless as to why it's not working.
Every time I go to use my limitless card for a film it won't let me so I have to book through the website anyway, waste of time.
Not only it works now on my phone but I can use limitless. Great update all in all. It would be good though to see all the cinemas that show a film when clicking on a film in what's on.
Another piece of shite for an app ! Doesn't let me booked a film without having to login, even though it's says "continue without login" and won't go any further than that ! Doesn't even reconise my login either .... yep a piece of shite for an app
Difficult to navigate and find films in advance, suicide squad (at the date this review was posted) doesn't even exist in "coming soon" wtf sort the app out!!
Can not select seats when booking, crashes out midway through booking, can't use vouchers. Just not worth the frustration and effort

No search, no weekly browse view. Cineworld also crap but better than this
The app is quick enough and has smooth UI but if you make me log in with a password why dont you have a section "upcoming screening" where my future tickets and screening details are visible instead of sending the confirmation sms/email.
