About Bird Sighting List

Bird Sighting List has been designed to allow the recording of bird sightings. Both the time and location of sighting are recorded. Users select the bird is via text input of either Common or Latin name which displays a list of possible birds for quick selection. Currently the database contains 10241 different birds which can be selected.
Sightings can be stored in different lists allowing for local/outing sightings to be stored in different lists, adding to any list also adds the sighting to the life list.
When viewing lists only the most recent observation is of each bird in the list is displayed with the most recent observations at the top. Selecting a bird will then display a map of all sightings of the bird with a list of times shown below the map. Selecting a time will take you to the details for each individual sighting where notes can be entered for each sighting.
If you have any ideas about any bugs or new functionality that would enhance the application feel free to contact me via my email address shawn.belton@redkiteweb.co.uk and I will endeavour to fix or consider adding to later versions.

Needs some work. Not user friendly. No navigation to get through app other than repeated back arrows. No ability to modify spots (that I can find) except to add additional notes, would be nice to be able to tag a spot as unknown then later update it, or delete it if you wanted (people have been known to get bird ID wrong). All user interface stuff that can easily be addressed to make this in to a very helpful tool...it's not very often I say something isn't worth $0.99... But...
