It's ok. I can renew my books, but not my kids though.

Needs a lot of work

Clearly the developers have paid no attention to Google's material design guidelines. It's a horrible mix of unintuitive design and poorly implemented embedded browser. One of the worst apps I've ever used. Disappointing to think the developers got paid for this, probably by tax payers. Only positive is I renew my loans.

Clumsy ap. Several odd glitches: 1. When browsing, where there are multiple pages, when you get through page 5, you can't just go to 6! You have to go to 10 and then go backwards to 6. 2. Even when you type audio books, a search will also bring up traditional reading books, so you have to filter. 3. It's updated tonight and I can no longer browse audio books; I can only search for specific titles and even when I tried, it wouldn't connect with a server. This ap needs an overhaul.

Could do better. Only works in portrait mode, which might be fine on a phone but a pain on a tablet; this app has a scanner to read your library card bar-code but if I rotate the tablet to bring the camera to the top (which is landscape) the live video under the red line indicating the "scanner-line" blanks out! Strangely, this same scanner allows you to 'search' for books by barcode, but given that you'd have to have the book to have the barcode this doesn't seem useful...?

Works, after a fashion, but incredibly slow and unintuitive. It's easier to pinch and zoom on the website rather than use this app on my phone.

Terrible app. When you select ' loans ' only 4 are listed and you can't scroll further. Same with reservations. Absolutely pointless waste of time.

Can't seem to link my children's memberships with my card or find a way to renew their books? Confused...poorly designed!

it should be a helpful app but sometimes it gets updated and for some reason it won't recognise your pin number so you can't log in- and risk incurring charges for late renewals

Don't seem to be any ebooks to borrow and it keeps locking my tablet. Am uninstalling. Waste of time.

Just Joined from the Dorset Libraries where the Overdrive App was soooo .much better. Now my PIN won't work!

Does not work anymore. Book on loan does not show in app. Useless!

An app that takes the 20th century libraries of South West into the 21st !!! Very well done!!!

I have been using this app but today having logged out to log in as my daughter & renew her books I discovered that the login functions no longer work. Pretty pointless now as I can't log in!!!!

Cannot see my reserved books. Whatever changes have been made recently, please undo!!! So frustrated.

Whatever it does in the background kills phone batteries. After using it for anything, close the app

Handy little app for renewing books from the comfort of my own home

Only works in Portrait, OK for phones and small tablets, no good for full sized tablets.

This could be great. It isn't. I can't scroll through my books I can only see and therefore renew the first few!

After logging in, puts the login panel over the screen, and it won't go away. Makes the app unusable.

I tried to search up a book and it didn't load it just kept buffering so basically the app didn't work. I wouldn't recommend downloading it becuase of this. It would be more worthwhile to wait till you go to the actual library

I just downloaded the app, scanned my library card to login, renewed a book that I had on loan and was able to search for books easily. Just my initial reaction but it seems marvelous.

This app worked fine on my old phone but having downloaded it to my new phone I can't even log in. Constantly told 'we do not recognise your credentials' which is of no help to anyone. Searching the catalogue is also useless now, type in a title or author and it searches, and searches, and searches... And so on, without ever actually finding anything. Will now be uninstalling sadly.

Good layout but it would be nice if there was a square that led directly to zinio emagazines in the app!!

And, what is the point of including the library bar code on the home screen - even the self checkout machines in the library can't read it? Also, someone has tried too hard to be trendy - reservations now show as "fetchable" rather than "available" - who made up that word?

On my Android phone it doesn't function well if you want to renew several books. It doesn't let you scroll down through them and press renew.

I am somewhat disappointed. The two things I regularly do via the web page, I still have to do via the webpage. 1. reserve ebooks, yes there is a button in the app, but it simply takes you to the webpage where I have to login again. And I still can't download them directly to my device. Have to use my PC and then transfer it. 2. Checking my children's reservations. Theres no way of linking their accounts. So I still need to login to the webpage.

Can only have 1 account at a time which is a nuisance when I need to check my children's accounts too. It needs a button to add additional accounts!!!!

Poor app needs a lot more work. Easier to use PC and logon as normal.

Just easier than using a browser on a tablet.

Wrongly allowed me to renew a book already reserved by someone else, and would not renew a book that it should have.

So far so good, does what it says on the "box". Will have to wait see how it performs over time.

Seems to have regular problems accessing my account details.

Should be able to renew all borrowings at once. It takes too long to renew each and every one of them one at a time.

Looking good, but could do with the wishlist option alongside reservation, still early days yet
