Surrey Libraries

No point if we can't add our children's library cards. All the books we borrowed this week are on the children's cards so we can't renew or even see what has been borrowed...

The first 3 or 4 times I opened this app, a blank screen was displayed and no options were available to do anything. Then I opened it again and it sprang into life.

Saves me driving to the library to renew :) . No bugs works fine.

Nice app to manage my borrowed books and to use online reference (love Zinio!!)

Won't even install for me! Surrey still in dark ages

Doesn't fit phone screen, not adjustable. Doesn't show remaining loan renewals.

Initially excellent but now telling me I have no loans (wrong). Also recently moved libraries & barcode not accepted on (larger, more important) library machines.

Unable to do anything on an S7 once opened. Screen was stuck. Shame because it sounded like a great idea

Would be much better with two changes. 1. Allow 2 cards e.g. adult and child on the app. 2. Have a renew all button or tick boxes for each book and then a renew button.

Disappointingly slow with no renew all option probably quicker to access via website.

A good concept but let down by bugs that cause freezing, no search results to books and author's I know are in the library and a barcode that can't be scanned by my library's machines. Beware! Your child can reserve loads of books without restriction and cost you money.

Magnificent

Nice to see an app that's no bigger than it needs to be (phone memories seem to be shrinking these days), but without support for guaranteed accounts (e.g. one's children's) the usefulness is not as good as it could be. Will have to continue to use the Surrey County Council website for most of our family's library activity. As of April 2015 SCC are raising this issue with the developers, so hopeful for an update soon – but doesn't appear to be part of this week's undocumented patch.

Can't see how I can view my children's accounts from my login like I can online. Fix this and it will be great.

It is worth being aware of the functionality of this app. It would be good to have tablet optimisation however.

A great free app. Quick access to loans and reservations; easy to scan a book barcode to search the catalogue; find your nearest libraries and have your library membership number and barcode on screen. Love it!
