About Photographer's Notebook BETA

Photographer's Notebook is an app to store and manage metadata of analog photos. It is meant to replace the usual paper-based notebooks photographers use to document camera settings in analog photography.

Photographers' Notebook was developed as a student project at the chair of Information Systems and New Media at the University of Siegen. The app is currently a beta version and not under active development. In case of bugs you can post a report in the issue tracker on the project website.

Photographer's Notebook is licensed under the Apache 2.0 license.
The full license as well as the source code of the app are avaliable here: https://bitbucket.org/sdraxler/photographers-notebook

It would be nice if I had a spot to make any additional notes about the photo. I like the lists to select from for the different settings etc, but just a box I could type in any other notes or comments would be helpful as well.

Film also comes in sheets. Why limit your AP?

Amazing app - I will happily pay for this. Just continue developing it. Thank you for your hard work! We need this!

Z70%
by Z####:

If only did this app provide any means to import the written EXIF data into scanned tif files via some desktop client or app, or something. Currently the only app that does this is Exif4Film, which is far less promising and versatile than this. Can I request such functionality be implemented in the next version? Right now I'm sticking to writing the data in Google Docs I guess.

This app works very well on my fairly old phone and does all I want (and offers more). The developers have been very responsive in addressing my suggestions, which is another plus point!

W70%
by W####:

The app still has some rough edges, but it shows a lot of promise.
