myTBHain

Mobile application “myTBHain” is designed for training and hands-on skill improvement of laboratory experts and as an aid for teachers and instructors who train laboratory workers on Hain Lifescience (GenoType MTBDRplus, GenoType MTBDRsl) test systems.

Mobile application “myTBHain” fully imitates membrane strips that laboratory workers use during hybridization followed by interpretation of the final test result. The application user is shown strips in accordance with GenoType MTBDRplus and GenoType MTBDRsl methods and an attached template. The user is suggested to evaluate this option of the test and choose a correct answer choice from the answer options. Then, the application compares the chosen answer with the correct answer and evaluates the level of knowledge of the application user. The application has multiple options of strips to choose from based on the real-life practical experience of laboratory workers. Regular training using this application will help lab workers to hone their skills for correct interpretation GenoType MTBDRplus and GenoType MTBDRsl and to report reliable test results during routine laboratory work to minimize reporting of false positive or false negative results.

Convenient user interface makes it easy to use the application regardless of level of skill with regards to both Hain Lifescience test systems, smartphone use or age.

The application is available in English, Russian, and Uzbek languages enabling greater geographic coverage of users.
