Yeah, kind of weird that my Galaxy S3 only had the google search icon, but no direct shortcut to a google voice shortcut. This is exactly what I needed. I put it on my lock screen to allow me to send voice commands without pushing a bunch of buttons.

My google search on my car radio that runs 4.1.1 JB didn't have the microphone button in the google search box and OK google doesn't work with 4.1. This shortcut lets me go directly to the google voice search (it comes up already listening). Now I can just touch this shortcut icon and say 'Navigate to XYZ
