Storm Alert Lightning & Radar

This is a great app for tracking storms as they approach. It has a lightning detector and some other useful features that I like. Works very well on my LG G5.

We'll see if this compares to StormEye, I'm still upset and having appmosity.

Latest update crash app. Have tried clearing cache and even reinstalling. I have sent email.

Was great...new update crashes. Unistalled, reinstalled and it instantly crashes.

Thunder Happy app. Conditions easily go to thunder on widget here in FL if there is a cloud around. Not correct! Other than this relativity ok being a no big name app.

Got a screen that says its time to renew my Lightning subscription. Click to renew. Play store pop up say "subscription already renewed" open app.. then guess what... yup stuck in this loop. Any ideas? Used to love the app.

This once was a very good app. After Android was upgraded to 6.0 this app failed, showing continuously loading. Uninstalled, downloaded anew, same sad result. Cleaned cache, installed again. Still no good. I give up.

Just displays a blue rotating circle and says "Loading". Never seems to get any further.

You have quite a description of the storms but why don't you have how much rain there will be per hour?

I like this app a lot I have a lot of great features I don't know if the lightning activation is active I paid for the subscription but I don't know how it would be active on the radar what do I look for what's supposed to be there can anyone give me some help?

This weather app is a great app but the whole yearly payment subscription thing for a weather app is rediculous, but the radar map and everything else is great.

App does not work just keeps on loading and doing nothing Please help fix shows a blue circle

I've received two storm warnings in the last hour for something that is not there. There are no clouds. I don't know if this is an old alert that's just now being sent out or what, but this does not make me happy. I even went to the NOAA site...nothing but high clouds, and those are way off shore.

Now empty background and just some flashes of radar.

As with others, it won't go beyond loading and can't be stopped. I uninstalled it.

This app works great for showing lighting in the 5 to 25 mile range, this is what I need when doing soccer games works for football also.

Few apps out there have all the layers and features as this app. Keep up the development and good work!

I will give 5 stars when my lightning feature will activate. I have uninstalled the app and it still won't work.

This is by far the best lightning app. I work outside alot and this app is essential for my safety. The alarms for rain, storms and lightning are very important to me. After my recent subscription update the ads came back and lost lightning subscription. Emailed author and he made a prompt reply. He recommended I cancel the Google subscription and then renew it. This fixed the problem and I did not get charged 2 times for the renewal year. Google account says I have paid this year and my next billing will be in 2017. Also, new app has augmented reality which is very cool. I can see the potential for many new cool features in the future!! Great job Mark!! This app should be a MUST HAVE for every football, baseball and soccer coach.

Love all the storm info by touching the storm cell which includes hail, cloud tops, distance from you and direction. To those that complain that .25 cents a month is too much to pay for this great lightning service, I say I'm sorry you can't afford what it has to offer. Update: lightning no longer works... why?

I don't know what the scale means . it says KTS which is knots but goes from 100 to -100. What does that mean?

I subscribed to it and after a month the lightening strikes stopped... Reinstalled it, still no lightening strikes....

I recently upgraded my phone, but my subscription won't transfer. I tried a uninstall reinstall, but no use. Will cancel my subscription if not resolved soon.

the convergence cones, there are too many of them and it blocks the view, you have to pay for the lightning subscription. that's really what makes this a 2, weatherbug does it for free.

UPDATE: I contacted developer and he got back to me really quickly. Helped me out and back to 5 Stars from 4. OLD:Since latest update it is showing advertising on bottom. I purchased the lightning option why is it showing this? Love it. Only minor things I would like to see is wind direction and possibly less startup time gathering lightning data (maybe out of your control). Nice single source weather app for sure.

Update: not showing any lightning nor notifying. Please update. I love the extensive storm information. I only have one complaint. The last week or two the notifier has stopped working unless I have the app open. I depend on this feature to allow me to get ahead of the storm for photography.

I subscribed to lightning service a year ago, and it worked for a year. But after being charged for the second year, it no longer worked. I attempted to contact the developer BEFORE posting this review, but got no response. I'm canceling my subscription.

I am a long time Boy Scout leader and find myself on camping trips on a regular basis responsible for the safety of other people's children. This app has become an essential tool for me to keep ahead off the possibility of dangerous weather and when to seek cover with plenty of warning. Don't really realize how much I depend on it until I find myself someplace without cell service and then I revert back to the old tech way and watch the sky and rely on my NWS weather radio. You don't get the full benefit of this app without the lightning data subscription but at $2.99 a year it is well worth it. Customer service is also great. Had occasion to upgrade my phone recently and had a problem getting my lightning subscription to work. Received a response and a couple suggested solutions in less than fifteen minutes. One of the proposed solutions worked like a charm. The developer also continues to fine tune this app. He just added a new widget that makes it even easier to see what is coming your way. Every coach, scout leader or any other lover of the outdoors should not venture outside without having this app installed on your smartphone.

My solar team has been using this app for over a year. We've found it to be the most reliable and accurate tool for helping keep our team safe, especially while building solar fields in the desert. The developer was quick to reply to my emails, and recently made several updates, which resolved the issue I was having with reactivating the subscription. Top notch support.

Accurate and up to date. The warnings are a bit buggy for me at times, but I think it's because I am on a cell extender. I like the ability to track storm direction and intensity.

Gets better and better. Living in Florida, I really like the alerts of close storms. 5 stars here. Thank you.

App is good and does give a good reading as to the lightning. Would be better if the radar was a little clear and not so grainy. Wish you could add custome sounds for the lightning and thunderstorm alerts. All in all a good app. 4.5 stars.
