How to use.
The Countdown Timer has six preset time buttons, 10, 5, 3, 2, 1 minute(s) and 30 seconds.
To change the preset time on the buttun, long-press it.
During countdown, the timer calls remaining time at:
- Every 30 seconds till 1 minute.
- Every 5 seconds between 20 second and 1 minute.
- Every 1 second from 20 seconds to end.
"5,4..." button: Pre-countdown for 5 seconds.
"Quick" button: Start immediately when you push any one of the preset buttons.
Flick over "Start" button and big start button will appear. It is convenient to use by touch. Long press the big button to start and stop. Flick over the big button to restore.
Count down will continue when you switch to another app. So, you can do almost anything with your android device with countdown call.

Quite good, no annoying ads. Simple and does what it claims to do. It will be great if: 1. it can be set to auto rotate or put in landscape mode. 2. It can remember my setting if I already chose 'quick' or '543……' the NEXT time I start the app. For now I still have to press them again every time I exit the app. VGE

It is perfect for what I originally wanted in every detail. I use it for counting down radio controlled yacht race starts. The easy start button allows easy setting re-starts. The voice is clear and it announces time to go in perfect increments. I would suggest that this app is perfect for counting down to a multitude of racing starts for many disciplines. I do still have one issue with the app, that I have requested help from the developers with. My problem is that the app graphics are too big to fit on my screen. Consequently, I do not have access to the different time set buttons at the bottom of the screen. Fortunately for me though, I was originally only looking for a one minute countdown and this app defaults to one minute countdown. If I can get assistance from the developers, I have sinve come up with more uses for this app. Despite these issues that I have with this app, it is still worthy of five stars, as it does perfectly as I was hoping to find. There is no other app out there that does so perfectly as I needed. I have looked tirelessly. Some come close, but not so perfectly as this app. So come on developers, please give me a helping hand?

Almost perfect. I really wish I could set it to only announce every full minute, and in the last minute, announce thirty seconds, and then ten, nine, eight seven, six, five, four, three, two, one, zero. Every five seconds for the entire last minute is too distracting. And it needs to be possible to pause and continue. With that fixed, this would be a five star app.

Does what I want but why can't I set my own time? I really hate that I can only set it up to 10 minutes. Please make a custom setting for more stars.

Would get a full 5 stars if we could: pause the timer, configure when it speaks, manually specify time instead of presets.

I don't understand why it has to be just 30 seconds, why not 15 or 10 or 20 seconds. I want to be able to set own seconds. There are games "called pass it on" where you guess or do task and after completion, quickly press the "quick reset", pass the timer to other player and the timer immediately starts countdown again. This would have been perfect.
