Mariand Castrejon Castañeda, conocida como Yuya, es una youtuber mexicana. nació en Cuernavaca, Morelos, México el 13 de marzo de 1993, Actualmente tiene 23 años y es de signo piscis. Su nombre es compuesto, ya que es la unión de los nombres de sus padres: Maribel y Andres por lo cual, ella se llama Mariand.

Nosotros la conocemos como "Yuya" porque un tío que miraba la televisión, estaba mirando un programa de TV donde salía "Yuya la gorda" y dado que cuando Mariand era pequeña estaba rellenita, el tío decidió decirle a Mariand "Yuya" y así le llamo Andres (su padre) y posteriormente una compañera del colegio, escuchó que le llamaban a Mariand así y el apodo se le quedó hasta estos días (esto está explicado en un vídeo de ella)

Mariand estudió ballet, teatro y cine , es una persona artística y creativa, cosa que podemos percibir en la calidad de sus vídeos, donde generalmente explota las tonalidades de colores y formas.

A los 16 años se incorporó a YouTube gracias a la participación en un concurso de maquillaje que consistía en grabar un vídeo en el cual enseñara su talento para maquillar, y aunque no gano, ella siguió haciendo vídeos, como "ladymakeup16", luego cambió su usuario a yuya y así empezó su carrera en youtube.

Así se fue dando a conocer y la gente le fue pidiendo tutoriales de maquillajes. En muy poco tiempo el carisma y la espontaneidad de Mariand fue ganando más y más seguidores. Yuya llamó mucho la atención a los visualizadores gracias a su inusual voz.

Lanzó a su hermano, Sergio como youtuber y tiene un programa colaborativo llamado "aquí no me maquillo" y le dio publicidad a el de su hermano "fichis in the house".
