Locomute is a membership based car sharing network that provides 24/7 access to a pool of shared vehicles parked conveniently throughout Johannesburg. Members access these vehicles using their membership card or smartphone app. They only pay for amount of time they use the vehicle and fuel, maintenance, insurance and parking are all included.

Its a great idea though, but for it to be a success i think the cars should be environmentaly friendly using cleaner energy with zero carbon emission.

Seems like a nice idea, same as car2go in Europe. 1. No option to register on the app 2. Before I register I would like to see how many cars are usually in my areas 3. Where are the designated parking zones. None of this info is available on the app

Never used the app before but the first thing it asks me as soon as I open it, is to log in with a username and password?!?! Huh? Where's the registration option? Then I try their website...and it's suspended! There is only one word to describe the owners of this application and that is... "Amateurs". These people are not professional, their the type that copy ideas but don't know how to replicate or improve on an original idea. The perfect example of Africa trying to copy the world...and failing at it!

App requires login without registration option. Seems like you need to pay a fee. Also there's no official website so how can someone know how to register? The 'Forget Password' link is dead. What a failure.
