Currently reading The Sun Went Out- and the story is compelling and leaves me craving more. It is definitely worth to purchase the Story Tickets pass or whatever it's called. Not only does it support the creative geniuses behind the story, but it also keeps me satisfied with long reads rather than short ones. Compared to other choice-based novels, this one is probably my top pick, beating even TellTale games. Once again, definitely worth that I initially spent. Looking forward to the updates on the story!

I just finished reading And Their Soul Were Eaten and it is amazing! I can't wait for the update. I didn't mind paying for a story pass becuase the story is worth every penny. All the characters are compelling and honestly when this story is finish I will replay it. The world is throughly developed and always interesting. I'm currently reading And The Sun Went Out. My biggest problem is the fact story passes don't carry over to other stories. :( Also there is a glitch with the choice button.

Words are not enough to describe this game. The story (And the sun went out) is amazing and well written, the characters are memorable and have interesting personalities. The first person point of view and the fact that the protagonist has no name and gender makes me feel like i am the protagonist and this is my own, unique story. I truly can't wait for the updates, keep up with the fantastic job!

I haven't read the seccond one yet. But the first story about the sun is the best thing I've read in a long time. I paid for the story pass rather than watch the adverts which was cheaper than buying an actual book. The story is complex and thought provoking and you really feel like your choices have a massive impact on things. As a bonus you're gender neutral too and you can choose a male or female love interest. Or none at all. Which I find inclusive and unique. Can't wait for updates. Thank you! X

Best text-based game I've found so far. The choices have a huge impact on the story, which is compelling and well-written. And you play it all for free if you're willing to watch ads. Great work. One complaint I do have is that, for some reason, Wifi connection is required to play And Their Souls Were Eaten: even if you select it in the title screen, unless there is a connection, it will automatically go to where you left off in And The Sun Went Out.

So far I'm on And The Sun Went Out, and it has blown my mind in terms of the experience. Beautiful interface, good sound effects, nice music and a compelling story come together to make this masterpiece. Definitely worth paying for (and the 'choice tickets' idea is a nice way to deal with income from the game).

by Y####:

Absolutely astonishing. The ending to "And the Sun went out" was truly amazing. The ending had me bawling my eyes out for an hour straight. I lived every minute of this game and couldn't stop playing it. I'm moving on to "And their Souls were eaten" and am expecting a story as good as the first. I hope these devs go in to make more I credible stories, as I would love to experience more of their expertise. I'll never forget Moti, Shaz, Etto, and our nameless hero, who us all.

by G####:

The game is absolutely fantastic! It's like reading a book, but more interactive. I wonder if choices I made have a bigger impact on the end because some choices ago I had made a choice but it was no big deal for the future events. Anyways, I recommend playing this. I didn't try Their Souls Were Eaten because the first story it's too interesting for me to start another one.

A70%
by A####:

Normally a book needs to really grasp me, the setting and storylines found in this app I'd normally be bored of quickly. But once you're 5 choices in you wonder "what if...." And you also wanna know "would I succeed in this situation?". It's the ultimate game of chances and interesting plots. Only complaint is each arc (chapter) involves anywhere between 25-50 choices and getting those choice tickets is alot of money or alot of ads.

Y70%
by Y####:

Don't expect this to be an adventure game with managing inventory and fight enemies. If your looking for that you better off getting something else but don't let that deter you from this experience. Like it is described by the developers the story is really choice based. I noticed how different the story was when i looked at the screen shots and compared it to mine, i was surprised. (And their souls were eaten seems really interesting hope we get an update soon)

Y70%

And Their Souls Were Eaten is one of my favorite stories ever! It is so original and creative! I wish we could have save slots so I could read all the storylines that I like without having to go through the entire story every time I want to switch.

I CANNOT find a single thing wrong woth this app. The writers behind these stories are amazing, the stories are captivating, inspiring, thought provoking, and suspenseful! Whoever wrote these stories is a truly talented person who deserves fame and fortune from their work. Thank you for this beautiful game

This game/apps is my favorite it never has ads is up to date and very interesting my favorite story personally is And their souls were eaten. And I can never wait for them to update the story I check every day hoping it got updated. And not to mention the beautiful interface so simple but brilliant. The writer(s) are fantastic I give them props for keeping it up, it must be hard to keep thinking of things to add to the story. And the decisions are hard choices it no like you pick the wrong one you die.

E70%
by E####:

It's a great story and was hard to put down, but when I reached the part about the soul eater school in London, the story just... Stops. It doesn't load any more text after I make a decision no matter which it is. Perhaps a bug? Thanks! The text is appearing now!

Y70%
by Y####:

Well written and has a lot of choices. Each choice costs a 'ticket' but you can get more for free by watching ads- I like this but I wish you got more than three tickets a go. With so many choices it means you watch a lot of adds. You can pay to unlock instead though.

Y70%
by Y####:

I love this game. There are quote a few choices and the stories are very interesting. I hope there are more stories in the future. One thing: sometimes when I try to watch a ad, the screen turns black and I have to exit and reopen the app and see if it works. This has happened so many times. Please fix this!

W70%
by W####:

My one issue with this game is that i was put out incomplete. I have no issues watching add to get choice tickets, i would like sit and watch five in a row while doing something else, but being stuxk with a cliffhanger is awful. Im the type to read a 800 page book ina day and still want more, it seems cruel to have to wait till who knows when for an update. This game is beautifully written, and i want more

Y70%
by Y####:

Final Edit: after changing their ticket system to include a 5 dollar pass for the whole story, I was quite happy, I went and bought both passes for the stories right away and it was honestly totally worth it, on my 2nd run of and the sun went out as I didn't like the ending the first time around, thank you to the devs

R70%
by R####:

Didn't realize there was two stories, blissfully surprised! The music adds such an edge to the experience it's beyond words. The ads also create some pacing for the story so personally that's a bonus. Much better than daily tokens that can only be bought with real money.

O70%
by O####:

That review about paying isn't accurate. There's a way to continue the story by watching ads. Also, a story doesn't need to have voice actors what the heck? This deserves to be a book imo, they're great stories.

Y70%
by Y####:

The story is really mind blowing! I have always loved steampunk style stories and games and so far this is the best one yet! If only there are some graphics then that'll be even better. The update is weekly so it's bearable to contain the hype but since the story has not yet been completed, I will hold on from buying the full story pass. However, I can see myself in the future replaying the story again and again with different set of choices because at the end of every arc, there'll be 2 endings which may or may or make the real ending to be more than 2 (I'm expecting there's at least 2 endings since the choices lead to different settings and consequences but I don't mind if there's only THE ending). The story is too good that I can't think of anything much too suggest, except from the occasional graphics of course. By the way I've had this app since last year! Even when I'm tempted to play other games, I can't bring myself to uninstall this one because it is too good! Keep up the good work and bless you, whoever that created this marvelous piece of work.

I love the books both the and there souls were eaten and the sun went out but I have one problem I clicked the wrong choice for and their souls were eaten and I have no way of going back please I need help and no I didn't have a cloud save. But other then that there's nothing wrong with it if u guys can fix the one problem I have I will rate this game 5 starts.

I70%
by I####:

I love "And Their Souls Were Eaten" it is the absolute best. The story is compelling and quite strange, in a good way <3. The only reason I am not giving this five stars is because I think that there should be a notification setting; one where you can choose which story to receive updates on. Getting notifications when the stories update would make the reader less likely to get frustrated when they check the game daily for an update. (presumably daily; I for one am slightly angry that I'm caught up already)

Y70%
by Y####:

I absolutely love this story! I am now up to date with the story, and find myself wishing for more right away... I hope it updates soon. (When does it update?)

Y70%
by Y####:

It's a bit circular. Say someone asks a question, a few lines later they'll ask again a different way. I have an alliance with nox and in true female (I am female so I know) fashion, she'll just blow up and get angry for no reason. Some conversations sound forced, like the story HAS to go a direction even with your input. Overall this is a wonderful tale.

J70%
by J####:

This is easily one of my favorite books. The ability to make an impact (or at least feel like I do) on the situation kept me from getting bored as I do with most normal books. I felt truly connected to the characters and the emotions they felt. Amazing story.

C70%
by C####:

Whoever is the developer(s) of this game is seriously an annoying one. Not only do you deem it, unfavourable to have a narrator. To continue the story, you force us to give you money? How cheap is that of a practice! You don't deserve money of you're too lazy to have a voice actor!

R70%
by R####:

It is very interesting and well made, but I've encountered a glitch where the story goes with the option I didn't choose. I love the stories, and am having a hard time putting my phone down, but this glitch can be quite annoying

G70%
by G####:

I'm really enjoying the game. I do wish the stakes were higher (risk of death and having to restart the arc, etc) but I understand that with the game mechanics that's not so feasible. I also wish the screen would reflect the events a little more, maybe sustaining "damage" after falls or a little in game date/clock rejecting the passage of time, changing wallpapers, and so on. But I'm really loving it, thanks for the great game!

K70%
by K####:

I can't stop playing it! You know it has a great story when it makes you willingful enough to watch ads to get choices tickets. The story is mesmerizing the design is simple and nice. I love it!

Y70%
by Y####:

This is is really Awesome to be honest. I just hope that the next update would stop the ticket choice thing it messes up the suspense when i get to a certain point. Plus the Writer on the story the "And the Sun went out." Really REALLY DID A GREAT JOB! I'm hoping more in the future. I'm sharing this to all my book worm friends <3 <3 <3

O70%
by O####:

Well, I chose the second storyline to pay, and play. I'm into it, and like it. Just upset that I had to pay for an unfinished story that I'm still waiting forever on to get updated.

Y70%
by Y####:

Love game except, when I try and watch a video for some tickets sometimes it just goes black and doesn't let me go back. The only thing I can do is go out the app.

Y70%
by Y####:

The stories are both amazing! They are beyond compelling and truely unique. The ticket system is a great way of allowing everyone to read your beautiful stories too. My only complainy is i have to wait for more!

Y70%
by Y####:

WARNING! Better make sure your game doesn't crash or you WILL lose all your progress and/or choices made up until that point along with any money invested in the game!! Also, the choice buttons are really unresposive needing multiple taps to confirm a choice and more than once the wrong choice was selected. The stories are good but the overall interface and the fact that it seems to give you less videos to watch as you approach the end (to make you pay for it) is really annoying. Better stars when fixed.

T70%
by T####:

Really enjoyed And their souls were eaten, so much so that I paid for the story pass which is a rare occasion. My only issues are that the choice buttons are buggy, the story throws you into different settings without warning which I admit may be because of my choices lol and the last thing would be that the story pass doesnt carry over mulitple stories. Tbh these are such small issues that they don't even subtract from the 5 star rating, keep going guys I wanna see what happens in France already!

A70%
by A####:

I love the story, it is full of twists and unexpected things. However, the game is a bit expensive, though it might be worth it. Sometimes the app crashes randomly but that is minor.

Y70%
by Y####:

... until Christmas Day, when I ate a load of sprouts. Seriously though, this is a story of one man's disturbing undying love for his smart watch. I'm no psychologist, but that just ain't right. No wonder he never fell in love with a human. But the two of them (almost) saved everyone and he just about kept his sanity. I'd give the story 6 stars, but one of those stars keeps going out. (I'll get my coat...) By the way, the second story is basically a steam punk version of We're Going on a Bear Hunt. (Nope..)

Y70%
by Y####:

The app freezes when checking for updates. I've never had the chance to actually try the game.

Y70%
by Y####:

Anyone give this app a bad rating probably doesn't realize there is an option to watch ads for more choice tickets. I haven't paid a cent, and am completely up to date on the Sun story (only just started the Soul story, so I can't yet speak for the quality there). Biggest complaint is the fact that I am left with a massive cliffhanger waiting for the update. The game starts to show minor typos towards the end, which is a small inconvenience for a free, and very enticing story
