What is a Gamebook Adventure?
Gamebook Adventures is brought together through the efforts of passionate and avid gamebook enthusiasts. If you are familiar with the Fighting Fantasy, Sorcery, Lone Wolf or Grail Quest series then Gamebook Adventures will really appeal to you. Our aim is to give those nostalgic readers of old something new and fresh, and bring a new exciting experience to those unfamiliar with gamebooks. If you enjoy fantasy RPGs or adventure games then this is for you!
At their core, all of our gamebooks are compelling adventure stories where you get to choose how the adventure unfolds. Every section of the narrative concludes with choices that you have to make. The choices you make will alter the story, taking you down new paths and giving you new choices.
Occasionally you will be presented with a situation that needs to be resolved with some dice rolling. The gamebook engine lets you throw 3D physics based dice that roll and bounce as if you were tossing them on a tabletop. Roll the dice to resolve combat by pitting your character against a myriad of enemies. Roll the dice to see if you were able to leap the gaping chasm, or pick the shopkeep’s pockets. Roll the dice to see if you won a bet, or caught the plague!
Did you take a wrong turn? Or make some bad dice rolls? Then hopefully you put in a bookmark so that you can go back and try again!

Download was easy. Crashes when I try to play. I'm on an NVIDIA shield K1. Any advice?

Well, for some reason the game wants to name me "the tin man" no matter what I name myself AND give me unlimited bookmarks (it always shows you have 10 remaining) in classic mode. WTF, that takes all the challenge out of it. If I wanted to play like that Id choose casual. Did the latest update release a dev test copy or what? Itd be great if this was fixed, its a good gamebook otherwise. Id give it 5 stars if it wasnt bugged out.

The "phobia" factor introduced to the game play - HoH fear points reminiscent here. Battles with 8 legged enemies take on a new twist now, as the hero in this story has a fear of spiders! Really enjoyed the story and pacing of this book, it's a well balanced adventure yarn and more of a challenge than previous titles too. GA are all well put together and worth every penny. I'm well & truly hooked on these game books from TMG. Can't wait for 'Bloodbones'!!

I loved the original ff game books tin man have brought the concept into the 21 st century. Whilst the story is great at the same time the dice game part of it can be a little tedious sometimes rolling rolling rolling can be a little arbitrary, but then the fact you can unlock locked choices means you can skip ahead anyway not unlike the original when you'd failed for the third time. So it's all the gain with no pain unless you want to be hard core. Great game, great experience. Thanks Tin Man Games.

You only get one re-roll from a shake. That's pathetic when you face the idiotic challenges of the latter part of the non-story. After getting snake eyes four times in a row, I'm done. Don't waste your time or money.
