Warhammer (amazing) + tin man (quality) = total rubbish. How do u guys do it. The mind boggles. Warhammer is dying cos of really bad ideas an shoddy work. Let me know when u can be bothered to create a game worthy of the Warhammer title.

Choices that lead to instant death/failure with no chance of rolling for success or taking action. Absolutely not worth the high price. $.99 value at best.

Fun and with lots of replay value. However, there was supposed to be a sequel...but it has never materialized. Any word on when or if it's coming out?

The save system is weird and confusing. Messed up my game.

Excellent as always from tinman games

The game book captures the 40k atmosphere nicely. However I'm not impressed with the graphic design especially compared to other Tin Man books. My biggest frustration is with a battle against 4 Wytches that must be done in 3 rounds. When you lose, one possible choice is that something intervenes to save you otherwise it's game over.

Like it. Not sure about support for this game though. I emailed developer about a problem but have had no response. Section 197 gives 2 choices however, both go directly to section 6.

I have been a fan of Tin Man's adventure books for a long time and over that time I couldn't help but see other developers advancing the genre whilst these books seemed to be happy with sticking to the same template and functionality. Appointment with Fear was a good attempt at trying something different but it couldn't seem to escape the limited amount of choices from the source material. This latest offering goes further in the right direction and it doesn't play like their other adventure books. The fighting is engaging and the atmosphere is what you can expect from WH40k, the 3d models are of a high standard. 4 stars for sure, I just have to see how it pans out before I give 5 stars. So far, it is imo the most engaging adventure book from Tin Man Games yet and I look forward to the rest of the trilogy. Edit; after playing this for a while I can see this as a massive improvement and feels more like Chainsaw Warrior than a gamebook, but still has a really good story. 5 stars.

In order to get the best ending, you need to succeed in "Wheels of Fate" during one key point of the story, this makes all the choices and accomplishments that you've done previously useless as wheels of fate really depends on luck. Also, there is only 1 good ending, once u reach that there aren't much point to reply, unless other gamebooks such as "To be or not to be", which has diff of endings to unlock.

Only a few hours of content even to do/see/get 100%, would have liked a lot more. More colors would also be an improvement.

I grew up playing GW tabletop games and reading the books. This is a master crated mix of the two.

I bought this product with a big risk but what I have found in it is unbelievable. Keep up the good work and I do recommend this title to anyone that loves WH40K, kill the mutant, burn the heretic, purge the unclean...

It's a good game for w40k fans like me... but feels like overpriced for such short story

This is a big step forward for Tin Man Games over their other gamebooks. The polish on the graphics and the audio is much improved and the new combat system gives additional choice. I especially like the soundtrack in Herald of Oblivion, it's a definite space theme with hints from the Alien movie soundtrack which really set the mood of exploring and battling on a ancient space hulk! The graphics for combatants are excellent. I do like the painted art in other titles but being a 40K storey the computerised pict graphics really work with the story line which is right up there with the good work done in the Horus Heresy novels. Gameplay is nicely sectioned with distinct quests for individual team mates allowing you to break up your game time if you can resist!

Entertaining read if not a little short for the price. but one great thing with it is you can always reread, the shoot em up bits are a good twist on things, they reminded me of early pc games. On a side note the datapad feel was fantastic and I would like to see that as a theme for phones and tablets. I hope the next ones are going to be cheaper, as they will essentially be dlc for those that have already purchased this one, unless you plan on redoing the whole layout? Anyway thanks again :-D

Hi guys love your games, saw this one on your website and bought it without two thoughts. Unfortunately when I ran it , there's no visible writing in the menu, anyway hit what I assumed was new game, and got the intro, but once I reached where it says combat tutorial I couldn't go any further. Can you help me please?
