Best Cryptic Crossword

Basically a replica of Teazel's other app, "Crossword Cryptic" (which I heartily recommend too), but with a different set of puzzles. Not that I mind. I've been a long time follower of Teazel and others from the Times Quick Cryptic club. Happy to contribute for his efforts. One point, though: I think the quality of some of the clues is very poor. Take for example 11ac in Puzzle 7: "No crop is damaged by this insect (8)". The answer is obvious. But "insect", what the hell !?. I just can't believe Teazel would make such a crass mistake, which leaves me with the suspicion that this was not compiled by him but by a helper. I hope Teazel will make amends in future updates, if only to maintain his faultless reputation.

What a surprise when I saw this! I always loved the website puzzles. So happy to be able to do them on the phone. Thanks!

This is the long-awaited second set of cryptics from this vendor. The interface. Is clean and puzzles pack a sensible level of difficulty progression.

Good cryptic crosswords, difficult enough to be a challenge (for me, at least) but not so impenetrable as to be abandoned.

Thoroughly enjoying this game, however it does drop out on several occasions.

Fun app with plenty to do. Can't wait to see more!
