Chess Premium

This is a nice piece of work. I like to play it to get an idea of my accuracy. On the default setting the computer almost never attacks but it sure can defend. If I play a decent game I get a dead draw, if I make one mistake the computer exploits the advantage and will win. Very few chess programs play consistently at less than master level.

This game has checkmated my King more than once and didn't know it. It wanted to keep playing. I don't remember the free version ever doing this. Email sent, but no response to date. Update: doesn't seem to play well with the Moto G4+ running Nougat. I don't know why. (The free version seems to work just fine.) The pop-ups need to be re-sized for larger screens. They are really tiny.

Game freezes won't let me in to play, then hard to back out of the game. Guess I lost my money buying this game. Wish they would fix it from freezing up

Used to work perfectly but now hangs frequently on my Nexus 5x. It still works great on my really old Kindle fire.

Used to love this app on my HTC one. On my Samsung s7 it just won't run. Freezes crashes. Uninstalled.

The app all ways hangs! It sometimes takes 2 minutes for the game to start. I have tried reinstalling a few times but it doesn't help!

Starting game is difficult with start on very edge of Samsung mobile. Also, game will not turn to landscape mode at alOtherwise very fun.

This would be a 5star app however the app freezes every single time I open the app without fail.

Whats new: a butt ton of invasive pop up ads. C'mon this is the premium version now there's literally reason to buy this.

Chess Premium is an Ok app. It's worth the 1.99 upgrade. The computer doesn't take forever 2 make a decision when it's set on high.

I loved this game for years. It was perfect. Then Optime did an update and it's no longer possible to promote pawns. If you try to, the game freezes up and nothing you try will let you resume the game. Now, what used to be a great game sucks. Amazon can't fix the problem from their end and contacted Optime about this but apparently Optime doesn't care because they already have my money. There are a lot of other chess apps out there - buy one of them! This wouldn't be worth it even if it were free.
