This is, by a wide margin, the best daydream game available. Incredible experience
Georgeous world. Engaging journey and storyline. Mystical in the way that more VR games should be
Best game I've played on Daydream! Love the atmosphere, the scale, and immersion this game brings!
The best use of the Daydream controller so far.
Although I thought the controls and the game play were simple, I enjoyed this new comer game!
Great graphics and the jetpack navigation is extremely slick. Really well executed!
I absolutely loved this game it was so good. I'm in full support for these developers. Amazing game
Amazing sound and visuals, great interface for interacting with the environment. Best game on daydream, this one was inspired. Hoping other developers learn from this one and make more games like it.
This is an order of magnitude beyond any other Daydream game I've tried yet.
Just amazing. A truly immersive experience that will leave you in awe. This is a must have for the Daydream. Hats off to the Devs. Outstanding job.
This is the best vr game I've played on my S8 so far. Totally immersive and great value for money. I played this over a week an hour each day. Fantastic ending. Well done, brilliant.
If you have Daydream you need this game. Very polished, fun to play and great graphics. Plus OUTSTANDING support!
Unbelievable how good this is. The music, the game play, the story, the graphics.. How does this not overheat my phone?? HUGE thanks to the devs for showing us what vr on a mobile device is actually capable of.
Best Daydream game so far. Especially the control scheme & way if prevents motion sickness are great.
Really like the massive landscapes. However I'm not sure if there's only one ending or not.
If you own a DayDream - this game is a must have. It is impossible and yet it exists.
Next time can you throw in a boss fight, or let me shoot something period just discovering things gets kind of I don't know boring
Incredible. And it's on mobile which is surprising, considering how detailed and well-made this game is. White Elk has really put a lot into this game. It's is an adventure full of puzzles, mysteries and thrill. A theme of power and a neat backstory runs throughout. And you fly a jetpack!
Eclipse is beautiful all around. Five stars easily! The controlls feel completely natural. Seriously blown away by this game!
This App would be much higher than 2 stars if not for the following issues. 1) Movement is incredibly slow. I understand this is probably intentional to make everything seem larger, but it is frustrating, especially in light of #2. Also, moving objects is incredibly slow, and again affected by #2. 2) Movement sticks! Using the thumb-pad and sliding your thumb around works sometimes. Sometimes! It is immensely frustrating when trying to platform and it suddenly decides that you are still holding the forward button, even though you've let go. Or when you are trying to move side to side to avoid a laser shooting statue. and it decides you aren't moving and you get blasted. I've gone into this game with a fully charged controller, a fully charged and freshly rebooted Pixel XL, and am still having this issue. Other games work fine! 3) Buggy-- This game doesn't feel like a final release, but rather a beta. Objects disappear for no apparent reason (not holograms, I know they are supposed to disappear, but statues and breakables.) Often times things don't like to scan. Surfaces that appear to be climbable aren't. Final verdict: Good idea, bad execution.
I was starting to doubt my daydream purchase until I started playing this game. Definitely a must experience.
Surpassed my expectations, very large environment with lots to explore and interact with. I REALLY hope more games for vr like this are made. I've purchased many of the available games for daydream and this is by far the best one.
Played this tonight for a while and loved it. Great controls and good gameplay. I'm excited to continue playing it and I hope more developers create games like this for Daydream. This is a good example of great game for the platform.
I'd give it a 5 star if I could actually play the game. I'm 2/2 motion sickness nausea within 10-15 min of playing. I have had motion sickness 3 times in my life. Once from whale watching (never saw the whales I was so sick) and twice from 10 min of this game. I still have motion sickness the day after this. I have played other VR games no prob. This is the only game that makes me so sick I have to lie down after. It makes me never want to put on a VR headset ever again. The motion sickness hangover is ridiculous even a day later. I am perfectly healthy otherwise and not diagnosed with any other problems, exercise and eat right probably better than 99.9% of the population since work in that profession and not on medication that would affect nausea. I'm no stomach sensitive pansy feeble person and have plenty of gaming experience. I have a regular Google Pixel.
The first game that feels like a finished product and not a demo, and what a game! Although the controls take a little to get used to it (because the Daydream controller is rather limited really) once you get the grip of it it becomes second nature and you find yourself doing things you wouldn't know you could, but the real deal is the intriguing story and the outerworldly scenery that will make your head spin. Totally recommended!
Best DayDream experience so far and I have tried pretty much everything. Simply stunning stuff, I didn't think it was possible to achieve the power of such an experience with mobile VR.
EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE...CANT WAIT TO SEE HOW THIS ENDS! For any startrek fan, this is literally the game for exploring new worlds and civilisation! Amazing smooth graphics with good use of the jet pack. Only issue i have with this game is the view orientation and i cant really control where i throw the item...Double tapping the menu button have the laser pointer. I can Atleast use the scanner... All in all, i am hooked i cant wait to find out the end of the storyline! Thank you for opening the game up to my region
On my Samsung S8 it crashes out to my home screen soon after launch. Shame because the first 30s look amazing...
Exactly what im looking for in a VR game super immersive and worth the $. Update finished game and even more happy with it sick story and gameplay sad it's over, long enough gameplay though 4 hours or so
For someone that likes to explore new realms, this is the ultimate exploring game. I was getting nauseous after too long playing. The puzzles, however, get old. I
I picked this up based on the great reviews by the VR websites. I'm probably a third through the game, and I have this feeling that I haven't really accomplished anything. Sure, the controls are awesome, the world looks good, but my simple puzzle solving has very little reward, other than largely redundant tidbits about the world's history.
I am a light weight when it comes to motion sickness, so I have to stop playing at times, but the game is great and I get eager to continue and keep pushing through the nausea. It's that good.
I never really love daydream until I played this game. It is by far the best. It set an incredible new standard on the daydream platform. But I can't believe Google never even nominate this game for 2017 Play Store Award. I can't believe it!
It started off well but due to controller and random issues like falling through the graphics and it randomly dragging ur character to one side for no apparent reason. I can only give 3 stars (and that's being generous with the current issues), it feels like a beta and should not be on sale.
Easily the best game on Daydream VR. A masterpiece and instant classic. Everybody with a Daydream-ready phone must get this game. The perfect gameplay, unbelievable presentation and highest immersion I have ever felt in a VR game make this one a must play!!!
This game is one of the best if not the best of daydream VR. Like any other games I suggest you to put a 20-30minutes timer because your cellphone will overheat. And in this game you forget about time. It's so immersive. The game is about discovering what happened to a disappeared civilisation (I think they disappeared... Not reached the end yet). There are a lot of puzzle but they are easy to complete. You won't lose more than 2minutes to figure them out. The world is beautiful and immersive. Graphics are not meant to try being realistic. Which is what daydream games should be going for. The graphic style fits perfectly and makes it even more immersive since it's not trying to replicate the real world with horrible textures. Can't wait to see what they will come up with next.
I've been looking for something to make me use my Daydream headset more, and this game was it! It's incredible, really immersive and the controls, with the usage of the controller, is implemented really nice. Not even sure how many hours I buried in this but it was a few! Great game.
I could go on and on... And I have elsewhere online. Suffice it to say, this is not only the best game for Daydream by miles, but the best game I've ever played on a mobile device! I had a chance to score a free copy, but I wasn't willing to wait, and this is the best $8.99 I've spent in a long time. To all other Daydream devs out there: this is the gold standard for story, audio/visual, and controller use.
Can't imagine how did this game running on a mobile VR platform. The game world is so BIG, graphics is decent and the phone can handle all this without problems. Game control sometimes did give me little problems since some mechanism will automatically triggered by the position you stand on or where you looking at while you want to perform another action. Not a big deal but did affects my game play a little in my experience. For other parts like immersion and content this game did great jobs on those things. For an adventure game lover I really thinkit is the must have app for the VR platform.
Eclipse moves the bar up for everyone else on Daydream. It feels great exploring this world. The only criticism I have is that it drags a bit in the middle. There's a stage or two where no new mechanics, narrative elements, or environments are introduced and it starts to feel a bit monotonous. However, it redeems itself in the next stage with a good reveal, more challenging puzzles, and beautiful scenery.
