About ACRP ICH Flashcards Challenge

Are you preparing for the ACRP Certification Exam or looking for a job in clinical research and you don’t know where to find tools to help you study the most important clinical research related guidelines? Look no further! This fun game, in an app format for only $1.99, is a tool that will help you study the ICH E2a, E6, E8, E9 guidelines and the Declaration of Helsinki. The game consists of four levels of difficulty and each has 25 questions related to the guidelines, or "steps", between your office and the badge you need to earn. The higher the level, the challenging questions focus more and more on the analysis and application of the guideline concepts. You have three attempts to correctly answer a question and to activate a step. If you answer incorrectly, you will receive guidance to the correct answer. You need to activate the number of steps and collect the number of points required in each level to achieve an 80% final score. If you score lower than 80% and are not able to attain the Golden Badge start at the end you can try again as many times as you like until you feel you mastered the content and passed by at least 80%.

Doesn't save the progress, which is a pain. Please consider updating, as there are not too many available resources out there to study for the exam (affordable resources). Also some questions are not properly structured. For example: "Who is ultimately responsible for Source Data Verification?" The Pi is the one who is ultimately responsible for any aspect of the study. Yes, SDV is one of the monitor's responsibilities; however, PI will be the one at fault if the data is eventually inaccurate. There are more examples like that....

Can't save the progress / A lot of bug (you have to start from the beginning over and over again)

Long answers fill screen and block "submit" button

I complete the first two badges and close the app only to have to start all over!

has a 'bug' at level 2 of the game which won't let it proceed. seems like a good idea (the game) and the questions to prep for the exam...

The technical issues of this app is stupid

Doesn't save your progress, then bugs out and makes you start over. I've gotten to partway along twice now only to have a phone call or some other pop-up make me lose my place and start all over. Would like a refund.

In general, I believe that this app is an OK way help study for the ACRP certification test. The questions seem to be a good way to keep your thought process working in regards to ICH-GCP guidelines. It does have a number of quirks. On some of the questions it tells you to "Choose the BEST answer" when it will only accept multiple answers. It also, on occasion, gives you the incorrect reference to ICH guidelines. I am going to give it a 3 star rating. When studying for my CCRC, I would hope that I would not be given the wrong information......especially when I have worked so hard to get ready for the test! Also, it should be click "Here" not "Hear".

The app keeps freezing after responding to a question and hitting the submit button. You have to restart it from scratch (the steps are not saved). After the 3rd time, I lost my patience and hit the refund button. Also, upon starting the first level, there is a message asking to click "hear". It should be "here". Finally, it would have been better to design this app with the corresponding ICH and GCP links within the response vs "refer to".
