Both the story line and animation are really good. The voice overs and dialogue may be really cheesy, but the puzzles and mystery more than make up for it. I really like how long the game is - I don't feel cheated at all. Great game overall!

A year later and still my all time favorite game from this company and part of a great series. This game introduced me to this type of gaming and I fell in love at first play.

I really liked this game, played well throughout except when you get to the bear being hurt and you're supposed to go get the healer, you get the second half of the heart box that's on the mantle in the cabin, it disappears from your inventory once you enter the cabin. It's there the whole way back but once you go inside its gone. It is driving me crazy I want to know what's in the box!!!!!!!! Otherwise great game :)

I'm enjoying the game. Had to try it because of all the reviews. I love being able to play a game instead of the hidden objects which I find intensely boring. A little too much story and interaction, I prefer trying to figure out where I need to go and what I need to do instead of a book about the plot and stuff, but overall it's so far pretty good.????

Absolutely love, love this game. It's on sale now and well worth it. The graphics are beautiful. Music, eerily beautiful. Not over ridiculous story-line. Perfect amount of HOS (not too many) and a nice variety. Mini-games are interesting and nicely complex. Nice amount of extra stuff we all like. Well worth sale price!!

First time Ive ever spent money on a game. No regrets!!! Take my money, I want more!

One of the best I've played so far! The graphics are amazing, it's my kind of story and it was so fun to play. Puzzles varied in difficulty and I spent days on it just enjoying it all. Definitely buy. X

Great game full of intrigue & wonder. The graphics were fabulous, the story okay. The only thing I would recommend is when clicking on the map, it should be able to take you to that specific location. I also loved the kitty.

I played the Enigmatis series on PC and loved it a lot. When I saw more of Artifex's games were on the app store I decided to try them out, starting with this one, and I'm glad I did. It plays just as well as it does on Steam, and theactual game itself is good, too. Same prospect of a good story that draws you into the scenes, which look good as usual for this developer, same weird voice acting but I don't hate it. I'll keep up with this series as well as more of Mundi's games.

I have always been a big fan of hidden object games and I am loving this game...some one said in the comments that the mini games/puzzles were not so challenging, I agree but other than that it's awesome

The characters are a little creepy looking but I like the game overall. I like that the items needed were near by in each scenario.

All of the game collection is great, although some are short and having to pay for all games gets a bit expensive when you get addicted to them and they are the best when it comes to what I consider "Action& Brain games

Another winner from Artifex Mundi. G. L. 2 surpasses it, tho. I found this less engrossing but still enjoyable. Lovely graphics, well constructed, good puzzles. The mini end game was less fun - little short and confined. My only question is, why does everyone of their games I have played so far have a female protagonist?

Good game, the graphics and details were fantastic, the mini games were challenging but not overly difficult. I just wish there were ways to see all possible exits/actions for a scene. I also don't like that you can't go back and find the elusive objects you may have missed along the way.

I love artifex mundi games they never fail to be amazing in my book keep them coming artifex mundi games! More games more games! Oh and my favorite thing is that you can choose to do a game instead of finding hidden objects!

3 timed now I've gotten far in this game and it forcrcloses and I lose all my progress! Either fix this or give me money back! I paid $5 for this game and can't play it! I LOVE the game but this is RIDICULOUS! Loved it only complaint was the bonus game was too short and there was no map. I've already played the second one, so please hurry with the third!

Please keep on making more of this amazing games. It's so addictive and I can't stop playing them my phone is basically full of this games just because I love the story and graphics.

Love this developer. Game is great & has morphing objects, hiding fairies to find and a friendly kitty to help on your journey. Great artwork and good storyline. Looking forward to playing Grim Legends #2 & #3!

Totally recomend this game. Good to have a hint if stuck and to skip the odd puzzle when needed without having to go online which kept the game flowing. Halfway through and totally enjoying it so far.

I'm stuck it won't let me continue. Hot the Hint button and it says a piece goes to this round thing, but now it's not working in the Dungeon

at first, I was hesitate to buy the game because it is waste money to pay for a game than food, but heck I love game so i go for it. I read all the 5 stars comment and decide to buy it anyway.

Bought this game with great excitement, but alas, it was short lived. Game crashes on startup....Every.Single.Time.......very frustrating. Will change my review when it is fixed.

The games they make are wonderful, each one I've bought has been worth the money. They are challenging , fun and the story lines are really good. But the graphics and sound track fr the games are beautiful on every level.

Crazy good and keeps you wanting to go further..drawback.. Neglecting daily routines because I couldn't put it down. Worth every penny

This is my second time to play this game, first time about a year ago. Enjoyed it then and really enjoying it again. Beautifully designed, games play flows easily. I am a cat lover so the kitten is a big like...great job!!! Game shows devotion and artistry of the designers.

Fantastic graphics and great storyline, but the aggravation of constantly being kicked out of the game and having to redo actions every time I got kicked out keep me from giving this a higher rating.

I'm only about a third in, but the beautiful scenery as well as the melodic sounds keep me coming back to tackle more puzzles. A fun game and adventurous story... Well worth the price!

It may be called Grim Legends, but it is far from grim. It is an amazing game. I love it.
