If you want to look deeper into chess and develope your skills then you should use an app like this one! So far I've downloaded 9 of chesskings apps. It's a lot of amazing content that is almost addicting. They have theory that you can read that will expand your knowledge of the game, and they have puzzles to put that theory to test, then promote visualization by proving you with different responses to best move. Great job chessking

Some of the content is great but in some cases, I put the king into checkmate and it comes up with an error about refutation. The engine definitely needs an update in my opinion.

Great collection. Suggest you articulate the underlying themes such as "mobility cut off".. etc that would help better learning

M70%
by M####:

Great app to practice (addictive). But sometimes there are multiple ways to "mate in 2" but you have to guess the way the app intended which is a bit frustrating.

P70%
by P####:

Both enjoyable and educational. Not many lessons available to trial users but the demonstrations are excellent once configuring the controls for the simulator (learning the corresponding grid coordinates was also tricky. It is also difficult to interpret instructions when practicing, there does not seem to be clear distinction between strategies. I suggest short blurbs on the background of games & players referenced.

X70%

I love all the apps by Chess King. Connected with a single account synced between each app. High quality and easy to read theory and the chess engine is a fantastic learning tool. I play some positions over and over again, changing sides, until I get the most from it. Definitely worth a few bucks to unlock all lessons. But even without paying anything you can spend months before you explore and learn all the free stuff from each app in the series. Thanks a lot for creating them!
