I've learnt so much from this app, it's totally worth paying for it
Nice smooth interface. Used it daily for two weeks so far. Seems to be a good tactics trainer for intermediate players. Thank you!
Most of the exercises are locked. You need to purchase to unlock.
The best chess app to improve your level
I really like this; it really gets me thinking and hopefully improving my chess play
Good practice so far
Advisable for all chess players
The app is clean if somewhat complicated. A tutorial for first time users would be helpful to show the various features and describe the icons and legends. The content of the app is based on legendary tactics study course, and the delivery of that content is really good. My real life rating hovers around 1800 but in the app, I am now close to 2200. That degree of rating inflation must be corrected. I think the app does not penalize sufficiently when a wrong move is suggested.
This app is fantastic. I only wish that there would be some explanation on the right moves because I don't always understand the reasons why those moves are the right one and I have figure it out on my own. Otherwise, amazing app. Very good for people learning to improve their tactics.
This chess app is very user friendly and the puzzles are challenging enough to help you learn quite easily. I had stopped playing chess for some time before I got this app so I was pretty rusty but within a few weeks I found myself getting better and better.
Love the app, however sometimes the opponents move seem to be obscure (at least to an apprentice). Is it closely tied to the book? Is there a way to read further explanation of the tasks?
the best practice ever. showing continuations in a clear way and lets you play various variations on each position. plus reduce the position in case you having hard time solving it. amazing job guys
Never thought that app can train you chess like this.Insanely awesome stuff thank you develops and the GMs for sharing such quality stuff.
Some of the problems will say to play for decisive advantage, when they turn out to me play for win.
Interface can be a little clunky when reviewing the more in depth puzzles, however this may just be a case of getting more used to it!
Just like the app on my computer but now it fits in my hand!
Really worthwhile, and less fuss than carrying books around. Love it.
First time I've ever rated anything very happy. Voice tutorials and it would be 5 1/2 stars
Good, but why it is not remembering settings, like every time it is showing all exercises in test mode. Instead it should remember my selection of new exercises
I like the play shows you different outcomes and helps with seeing the feild in new ways
It moves to pieces so slow
The 5-star will be given by me only and only if you add chess matches with computer as well as with scilian, scandinavion and Modern defence and attack............
Descriptive, easy to use, informative app which will improve all standards of players.
Had this for years on my PC but it's even better than ever on my phone now. Ability to play against computer for alternative moves is great.
I use it to learn tactics and better my game which is at an untermediary level and it is great. Takes you through exercises and makes you understand. I highly recommend. Thanks to the creators.
I find it easy to use and some puzzles are really brain teasing... Proved helpful to me.
Great way to learn basic and advanced chess ideas.
So far so good
The animated moves are very helpful
The best app for training in my opinion, is on my phone now in a totally bad ass app. This is too good.
Very good puzzles - high level of difficulty for a scrub like me
Very good application
I love that the app shows the aftermath of why an incorrect move is bad
I love this app, easy to use and is almost like a real life coach.
You won't even know before you start learning
Easy to use. Good selection of puzzles, with similar formations for deeper understanding of the position.
Would have loved to have actual full matches too. However love this app
