Sorcery Is for Saps

The story was well written and enjoyable, until the end. The ended felt incredibly rushed, as did the romance. You just choose who you want to be with and that's it. It didn't feel organic to the story. Other than that, the game is decent. Not the best from this developer though

Rushed ending honestly kinda disappointing I feel like the first few chapters wasn't a great representation of what came next. Was still an overall good story with a few diverging paths.

The story was not exceptional but it was alright, most of the time. But the plot feels often forced (like the princess asking you to pretend to be your master if you tell her the truth...). Many of the stats don't make sense (being good at research causing you to be bad at improvisation and vice-versa, I hate opposed skills like this). The skills gained from options often don't make much sense either. But the worse are the characters, who don't have any personality or anything memorable. They are just their status : a perfect princess, a wizard who is obviously haughty toward sorcerers, a servant, a scheming courtier... and they are nothing else except for a brief physical description. Worse still, after avoiding all the akwardly written romance options during the story, I was still forced to end up with someone at the end : I was asked if I wanted to flirt with the princess (Yet AGAIN! I already refused again and again during the story, please do take the hint and stop asking) and I said no, after which I found myself automatically paired with the servant without any option to refuse. Iiiick. (The courtier unavailable as she was in prison, or it might have been her instead). On the whole, nothing especially interesting or memorable. Except maybe the ferret, who is the only character to have a personality, although a very stereotypical one.

Its ok to pass the time. I've played most COG games, this one falls kind of in the middle for me, but for $3 its ok.

Just go and read Magium instead... It was far more interesting and the most important thing is it was free all the way

Sure, but it lacked certain component I like in COS games.. Couldda been richer, especially on the side of romance.. I wish I could like it, seriously, but I don't. I can't. I'm unable to.

I like these type of games but the "pay to play" aspect of the game completely turned me off.. true, it's just 3 EU but I'm sure the devs earn enough with the ads... So yeah thanks, but no thanks

Fantastic little game. Pretty much didn't put it down until I finished it. It was nice little touch that your gender choice doesn't affect your romantic choices either. If I could rate it higher, I totally would.

You get to play first two chapters of the game for free and for the rest you have to pay 2.99$,i might as well buy it because the game is amazing(so far so good). If you like this kind of games then i recommend it 100%.

The demo was nice and I'm rather interested in getting the full version, does it remain the same quality throughout the remainder of the story? How much of it is left after the "first two chapters"?

Something fun to do while you're waiting. But somethings in the story are just there with no closing. Like: Who's this master?

This story is epic and it feels like choices truly matters. I don't know how the story changes with different choices, but so far it's great

The storyline of this game was very good with an intriguing plot and interesting characters. However, the very brief ending left more of a epilogue to be desired.
