This legendary war is carried out over 57 land territories and 48 sea zones, and includes 9 different units like infantry, tanks, bombers and battleships. Conquer the enemy and claim victory by destroying their armies and capturing their capital cities!

Use Google Play Game Services to play turn-based games online against your Google+ friends, or auto-match opponents. Send invitations, play rematches, earn achievements and rank on the Wins leaderboard! Receive push notifications when it's your turn to play. There could be some definite improvement on multiplayer mode, such as maybe a chat interface. Furthermore, there are a couple of bugs. One of these is the fact that there have been several matches i have played and the other person chose to dismiss the game, and in turn when the two weeks came to pass where you are given an automatic win over the other person due to their absence, and it was time to receive a win, i was not given one, and the game remained on my matches screen. That said, this game is sweet. Update... Bugs have either been fixed or the issue hasn't been an issue. Furthermore, my wins were honored. Thanks Electrowolff

This game is well worth the purchase price. I have had a very through enjoyment of it. The only downside I can see is the AI makes completely stupid decisions. Example: Germany AI will leave France completely undefended with the UK still having a Navy to invade it easily. It would be nice to see the AI polished a little bit to make better decisions. Still a great game despite that.

I really find this to be a very well done installment of one of my favorite franchises. My buds and I really enjoy playing on the board but set up can take 10-15 mins and games last days. This way we can get best out of 5 in less than 12 hours. I really love Axis and Allies. I am hoping the staff can start putting Battle of the Bulge, D-Day, Guadalcanal; but most of all 1914. Please please email me if you are working on any of those. I cant wait.

Brilliant game. It's a really quick and well developed way to strategise an A&A game. The only issue I had with it is after a few weeks my notifications stopped coming through for my online games so I couldn't continue any online matches. Not sure if this is an issue for this app or Google Play Games. Still well worth the £2.79 I forked out for it.

The AI is now a lot better (although it could still do with some more speeding up). However, if you could add more to the game that would be amazing. Maybe a 1940 scenario? Or simply another mechanic? It's a shame that there haven't been any updates recently :(

Its axis and allies. In my pocket! No in app puchases. For those in the know, dowload it and wave goodbye to your life. For those not in the know, Axis ans Allies is a series of board games over the last 30 years mainly based on ww2. Addictive gameplay. Love it. If you like strategy then download now. Big thanks to the designer, (i still remember the pc version of A&A), and this is 100 times better.

This has been the best game I have ever downloaded. I can play offline, the AI has gotten better over time. Would like to see more ability to play others online and this could get huge just because it is so nicely done. I must have 1000 hours playing this and will have 1000 more. Excellent!

No support, stay away. Currently the email address to get support and a refund (it claims you can get one at any time) is going unanswered. The game does a poor job of explaining how to do some things. Their tutorials help minimally. There is no technology achievement system like the original.

Game is great. Pretty good online community. One thing the developer should add is for games where one opponent is being unresponsive. Please award a victory if someone hasn't taken their turn in, say, a week. I've even had someone I had one or two games started who picked up a new game with me. Guess what? He /she hasn't taken their turn in forever. Thanks!

I have mostly played on multiplayer. However, for the few times I have tried single player the dice is not very unfair, just odd. Too many ones in one roll or too many five and sixs in one roll. Not too much of a problem though. What is a problem is that the game allows the players to place the units on top of each other. It's terribly annoying when that happens and I'd anticipate for that to be fixed.

You guys created an amazing game. Congrats. This was just like the board game experience in the palm of my hand. Thank you so much for this. Exactly what I was looking for. The only point of improvement would be to incorporate technology development like the board game, but I'm being super picky. Great work. Take my money!

Great game. Pretty much like the original. Two things I would like added. When buying troops, have a description of which troops you are about to buy. The destroyer and Cruze ships look similar. And also being able to add more people to the multi player game. Not just 1v1

Awesome version of the newest Axis & Allies edition. Please make AI more difficult! The online play is great, it's turn based, at your leisure. You can play many games simultaneously and you will get notifications when it is your turn.

A70%
by A####:

This game intentionally causes you to lose when you start to win too much, by giving you terrible rolls and causing you to lose battles in which your opponent should have absolutely no chance. I recommend you do not download this app until this is fixed. STOP MESSING WITH THE OUTCOMES OF THE BATTLES! It violates the integrity of the great board game. This would be such a great app if it would just stay out of the results.

C70%
by C####:

This game is great fun but the random number generation for the dice needs some work. It seems to favour AI. Even if this wasn't the intention I believe the devs need to look over the scripting for rolling dice and polish it. RNG is the only negative about this game.

This is a quality A & A type game effort. My preference is offline scenarios so it's limited there. Freezes sometimes but restarts right where it froze. Hope there are more offline campaign's in the future. Good job!

C70%
by C####:

Overall very solid and well worth only $3. The only negative is that the A.I. Is quite simple to defeat and as far as I've seen there's no difficulty modifiers. Again, I've had well more than $3 worth of fun. Hopefully with future updates there will be higher difficulties. Thanks for the solid game so far though!!

It's Axis and Allies, so you can't really go wrong. Like many others have stated though, my biggest issue with this game is the random number generator. Sometimes it feels like the dice are rigged against you. It takes the fun out of the game at times and almost makes it unplayable at others. I entered a battle as the attacker with 5 infantry, a tank and a plane. The AI defender had 2 infantry. By the time the battle was over, I was wiped out and the AI had 1 infantry left. Seriously!? Please work on the dice issue. Please also add the industrial technology aspect of axis and allies. Where you can spend money to roll dice in an attempt at gaining better technology for your units.

Awesome, was hoping someone would make an app for it. You can't beat it for the price. Well worth the money. Just like the board game but 10x faster! Only bugs are, like others have mentioned, the bombing raids with same die roll results; when you play AI they will leave full loaded transports unprotected within enemy striking distant. Overall I give it a 95/100.

Don't be fooled like I was. This game is nothing like Axis ans Allies. Developers and their friends must have written all the positive reviews. This game sucks and has no instructions on how to play. It is nothing like Axis and Allies. It really pisses me off when I'm dupped into spending cash. I would love to beat the hell out of the developers.

C70%
by C####:

Love the game, but there is no response to emails about glitches or questions. Many players simply stop playing when they start losing instead of honorably surrendering which leaves the game sitting on your active games list for 3 weeks before you are supposed get the win by default...but that's not always working because I've got games sitting now for 6 weeks. This needs to be cut back to 7 days.

C70%
by C####:

The game tends to fiddle with dice rolls as a method of balancing, which is unwelcome. It would be nice to have an option for "Low Luck" dice roll rules, as I feel that improves the strategy greatly. Multiplayer is prone to abusing the map; players will deliberately place their units on the border between two or more territories in order to obfuscate which one they're in. The only way to figure out where they actually are is to rewatch their entire turn, which is annoying when you have to do that every. Single. Turn. Please fix this!!!

AI needs to be better. Couple minor glitches found. No reply from gamemaster. Overall good game. Needs ingame communication of some sort. No random dice rolls on bombing raids. Its same roll every time. This issue really needs fixing. Also my subs took hits from planes, this needs fixing. Need an undo button up until combat phase. accidentally went to next phase without purchases. Cost me the game twice. Or a confirmation button!

This is my go to game all the time. I love Axis and Allies and this game is the same thing only in digital form. Some users have reported some minor bugs, but I have only experienced a frozen movement. I just back out and restart my phone and that works. I have not played multiplayer so I can not comment on that aspect. I would like to see super powers, but that is only a personal request.

C70%
by C####:

Apparently, as the player, during their turn, if you're in the middle of combat role, you can ignore some or all your casualties by exiting the current game, then select it again, after the defender rolls of course. This makes it easy for the player to cheat the AI, I literally did this with the USSR in free for all by using only 1 infantry every battle, and while it took some time, due to luck, I eventually won each battle. AI is slow. I hope for nation-specific units and plans for a 1940 map.

Very good version of Axis and Allies. I'm having great fun with it. It's just takes a little getting used to with playing this on mobile but is a quick learn. The online component needs some work. There isnt an open challenge system where it matches you up with someone else automatically from what i've seen. If your into A&A then you owe it to yourself to check it out. If your new to A&A and want to get into this it's probably the best way. I am going to buy a tablet to play it on as well.

I love it. Great work. People who are complaining about how it's not random or complain that it is complicated must not have played axis and allies the board game. You changed nothing everything is the same. Honestly 10/10 best money i have spent on an app. Love playing free for all on 41 as anyone but Russia lol. Ye a 1940 one would be awesome but that would be huge and a lot more programming. I'd literally make that another app and charge 10 bucks for that. And if online ability is capable then 20 haha.

Love it. Multiplayer is fun and challenging. Wish we could text the opponent while playing the game. One major bug is the air raids. They are not random dice rolls. I have played game where my or the opponents bomber with hit the same roll each turn. The factorys also hit the same roll. So the bomber never dies and inflicts the same damage each time. Also, not sure why the factories have a gun in the first place? Not like the origial game in that aspect.

I do love this game, it's very well made. the problem (EDIT:was) is the multiplayer. at this point, if your game isn't going well you can just ignore it indefinitely and play other games with other people. I have a recent game that I have been waiting for over a week for my opponent. EDIT: see the dev's reply below... Awesome!

Love this, but could you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add europe 1940 to this? I know our comments aren't probably read, but I'm simply asking for 1-2 minutes of your time to read this. The thing is, I used to have 1940, and I truly loved it, and I want other people who don't have 1940 the opportunity to see how great it really is. Thanks for listening. Keep up the great work!

The game is great, awesome strategy game, however the AI turn (specially on 1942 expension) take way too long, rendering the game unplayable. Toward the end of the game the AI spend more the 5 minutes to think through the move and strike phase. Please improve the performance, and also use multiple cpu cores. Most phone nowadays have 4 cores or more, so using multitreading can vastly improve performance.

At first I liked this app almost as much as the Axis & Allies board game. After 6 months of play, a glaring weakness takes the fun out of the game. I completely understand random number rolls with dice, but when the same type of pitiful rolling goes on for the entire time one owns the app, there is a problem. The wife and I are long time multi-dice game players. So, we took our many six sided dice and rolled along with the number generator in the app. Both our rolls were consistently better than the app.

Excellent take on a old favorite. The only thing that might it more interesting would be to choose teams and AI difficulty. Another fix would be from the last update gave 1942 income, great idea I guess... just hate waiting literally 5 minutes for the AI to purchase their units. Then Russia makes the first attacks. That is with the setting for quick turns.

One of the finest turn based strategy war games I've played! Adopting the tactics employed by the sides during WW2 can make a real difference (Obtain air superiority for the RAF, Don't let Moscow fall etc). Now that I've completed each game mode a couple of times, a 'random set up mode' would improve longevity and replay value.

Very close to Axis and Allies board game. Need more people online. To do strategic bombing in 1942, you have to place bombers over the industrial complex and click the bombers you want to use to bomb.

Long time fan of the board game and you have done an excellent job of keeping with complexity of the game. A chat or messaging system or a log would be helpful but reguardless of those minor critiques I still play everyday and if the rumors of 1940 are true I'll buy it as soon as you release it. Well done.

I used to play the board game. The other players (including myself) are now married with children and moved away. But with a very special thanks to the devoloper, i can now CONQUER THE WORLD AGAIN!!

Been playing this game for a couple years. It's entertaining but that's it. The AI is way too easy that the only worth playing on is a free for all. Even then, too easy. The difficulty modes how much the dice favor you. In the hardest mode you can attack with an overwhelming army and sometimes still lose. This has the potential to be a great game, but it's got a long way to go.
