Good port, controls are pretty responsive and the visuals defiantly hit the nostalgic sweet spot. Overall a good job. However!!!!! Why would you go to all the trouble of porting Heretic and not port the full Shadows of the Serpent Riders version, using the original release without the last 2 episodes is silly.

I was pleasantly surprised by this port of heretic...so far only played the 1 hour free trail but wow...good job! Even the cheats work using the keyboard...fantastic. I'm gonna play around with it to see if I can get my joypad to work with it but all in all a damn good port. Good jobs guys!

As many others, my trial period was over the very first time I opened the game. As I'm a huge heretic fan I bought it anyway, only to find that it has no gamepad support and lags a _LOT_ (might be my device, GPD XD). Unplayable for me.

Thought I was gonna be able to play this game, but the free version expired before I could even get a chance to play it. If you want to make a free version and then have to pay for the shareware episode, maybe make the first two levels playable at all times. Bad form.

This game need work as far as controls go. The controls are a complete mess and I can't even customize the controls on screen to make the game easier to play. Also when firing at enemies the controls become glitchy and you cannot moveuch while firing. This games controls need work

I used to use the Beloko port, Heretic Touch. But this version uses chocolate heretic, which is better than GZ Heretic in my opinion because chocolate heretic emulates the original game and not some updated crap. This is a very good Port! FYI: To the other people marking this down as 1 star because its not a full game, of course it isn't. You need to buy the original game file from a place like GOG games. Then you place the file into the source folder as written in the app discription.

I played your chocolate doom, awesome port. This one is just as good after the copying and replacing of files. Next on my list is Hexen. Hell, why not get every game than ran on this engine made my ID?

Crap of a download, couldn't even play, a waist of time ;( a game I love to play and I can't!!!! Heretic by Eltechs clearly has no idea what they were doing, just horrible ;(

Used to love this game, but opens to huge list of bugs, and won't actually launch. Plus the "free" version is only a single day evaluation I never got to try.

Complete misunderstanding of licensing and doesn't know how to specify compatible devices. Won't run on current hardware.

It worked whit out a problem and this is probably the best this game will get on mobile. But whit out a keyboard it is horrible to play.

Doom is much much better! Plus the control system on this game is very hard to use.

It seems a big complaint with others rewiers as they can't launch the game. Worked for me but is unplayable. Controls are ... Well I can't figure out what is what and how should I control the toon. It's a mess.

Limited time ? Shareware ? Does not feel right. On the other side, game runs well.

Cannot edit controls, not compatible with gamepads, the demo trial policy is ridiculously short!

And my "trial period" was over in 3 minutes. That's just bad programming.

Sweet! Remembered myself old good times when i was a kid and there was only couple of titles to choose on the market to play so everything was one of a kind!

Played this game years ago on an old PC and now I get to take it anywhere I go. Loving it. Though I am curious how to get the music running.

The app is a free demo for 1hour only, then you have to purchase it (that's what it whrites when you have to instal it. On my device (galaxy s6) is not suported :(( ...I used to play this game when I was a kid. Now that I found it I just wanted to play a little...

I was never given the chance to play the game. As of right now, this game is worthless. I've played the original in pc a while back and souk love for this nostalgia to return. I have a Samsung Galaxy s7 running 6.0.1

Downloaded the app yesterday while my in-laws were here and never opened the thing. Only to find, I can't even open it now. Waste of time and space, even if it was over night. This game can be downloaded for free for the pc and enjoyed endlessly. Terrible.

It is really nostalgic to play this game bring back many memories
