Battleray Starfighter is a vertical scrolling space shooter where the player must fight a hostile alien force called “Shadows”.

BACKGROUND:
In the 31st century the mankind did his first contact with a intelligent extraterrestrial life form.
The Phantoms.
Afterward the Orion Alliance was founded marking the beginning of a great technological and economical advancement. The first stellar portal was created, allowing the travel faster than light between two solar systems. With this new creation new alien species were discovered. Under the lead of the Orion Alliance these societies coexisted in peace.
A new menace appeared without warning attacking the Alliance planets. The Shadows. This hostile force was capable of travel in the space using a unknown interstellar propulsion technology.
To fight these mysterious enemies the Alliance engineers developed three prototype starfighters.
Now the most skilled pilots are the last hope to restore the peace in the galaxy.

Yano, the only thing keeping me from buying this game is the crappy controls you're forced to use.. I'm sorry, but that dinky D-pad on the left side wjust doesn't cut it for me especially considering all the VERY fine maneuvers you have top make to stay alive. How about the ability to at least switch sides!! The gameplay itself seems really badass, but until you give us some better control options, I can only give 3 stars. sorry!

I like it, the concept application and execution. Gives a little more than just scroll down shooter,there's a storyline that's been well thought out with interludes in just about the right places. Gameplays good slightly different to most with a joypad and dashboard at bottom, it works though and after playing it a couple of times I regard it as part of the challenge not having the normal finger following shooters. Despite this a finger following option would be a good one. This ones a keeper
