Border Siege [war & risk]

No combat style strategy game even comes close! The Border Seige online community is always active which is a great testament to the quality of design. Many online games available in the Border Seige Lobby. If your looking for a RISK styled game, don't bother looking any further. Learn the game by playing against AI, but don't miss playing multi-player. It's truly fantastic. I've played this game virtually everyday for the last three years and haven't come close to growing tired of it. Enjoy!

It's not too fancy but for me it doesn't have to be. There are a lot of different settings to play around with and the AI can be challenging. The main menu is a bit tricky to navigate and it would be good to have a view with units count, country and continent boarders, routes and possession. But other than that it's a great app.

App has it all: 50+ maps- real places, lit., movies, etc.; 168 combos of game options - capitols, fog of war, supply lines, dice, cards; 1 player vs. AI, pass and play, or online with 2-6 players incl. up to 4 AI; new AI upgrade is now a legit foe; online timers from 2 min to 1 wk; in-game chat feature incl private msgs; many visual, quick play, notification and other options; thorough filter for finding new online games; and more. Very good risk style game and better than the others. Only annoying thing is when the AI gets a blatant advantage. In one game, the AI managed to deploy 28 troops in one turn whilst only holding 5 territories (and 0 continents). The maximum there should surely be 13...

Overall game is amazing. But with recent updates over past month or so servers are super slow. Loading time used to be 1-2 seconds but now takes sometimes over 10 seconds to load. Would be 5 stars otherwise

The leader board is useless. Would be better to have a board that resets monthly or with ratings expiring after a while. That way one could evaluate skill based on current players and not by number of games played since beginning of board.

Offensive algorithms are seriously skewed. Definitely biased against human in off-line play. Other than that it's a good game...Usually can plan troop build up in anticipation of the bias, but in a close game it is very irritating.

Added online multiplayer definitely worth the money. With appropriate settings (random everything at start). Can still be fun and challenging vs. AI. Unlike rise wars where it was too damn easy.

Good strategy game with average presentation and several customization options, but no Google Play Game Features, no Google Cloud Sync, and no immersive full screen.

Have played a lot of strategy board game type apps, and this is the one that has kept me hooked for years! The variability of setup options keeps each game unique, and the community of players is unrivaled. 10 stars!

now game after the last update takes way too long to update after play. Keeps saying "sending game"

I payed and it won't let me activate my email wich I shouldn't have to do in the first place it's a cheap app not government files. People are paying for this you need to fix the error.

As I said but with more maps then I've seen any where else.

Could you put in a dice tracking element? Something that shows your win %?

I like this game very much. Every time I get a new phone I make sure to redownload this game.

Over all, a good time killer. AI is kinda dim, and cheats. Alot. Especially on the opening turns.

Play it every day... love it. When it works. No longer get notifications.

The graphics are as basic as can be, but the gameplay, maps, and A.I. are all you need to satisfy your Risk addiction on Android.

An app that is built this well and allows you to play everyone across the globe with the chat feature for free it's simply amazing

Says google play cant validate files..... ive had the game for more than a year... and i tried reinstalling... still dont work...

Excrllent adaption of the game. Played the lite version for 6 months & then bit the bullet for my first paid app. Money well spent. Playing against human players totally changes the dynamics of the game. Extra maps are great too!

A great time spender, especially if you are a Risk fan. Very close to the rules and the AI is ok. The AI can be predicted,but it doesnt take too much away from the game. I only gave it 4 stars because i am hoping the devs can add some of the cool card related and miscellaneous game tweaks that you tend to find in the variant Risk board games

Y'all need to do something about the battles in game how the hell do I always lose when I take more men than they have by at least 4 or more n I lose not once not twice but all the time its bull crap if I atk 4-1 i lose if I go 7-1 I lose I went as far as 15- 2 n I lose this game is bullshit n if y'all don't do something about this problem I'll delete the game

Did I really only pay $2 for this? That's ridiculous. I have had hundreds of hours of fun with it. The developer is highly responsive, too, especially given that it's a one-man show. The quality interpretation of Risk, the proliferation of maps, and the online play all provide enough to keep the game fresh while there are still a few interesting features in the works for future updates.

Straight up. If you like RISK, pay $2 and buy this. You will NEVER run out of games to play. Even single player is fun, learn the maps, play against the AI as two human players for an advantage. Soooo many maps, Star Wars, Lord of Rings, Star Trek, every continent, Pangea, future worlds, and so many more that have a theme I dont even what show or game they came from.

Frequent updates keep it interesting. Nice maps. AI v2 is terrible though, they attack you against all logic and seems help each in order to defeat you. V1 is more stupid but better balanced.

This is the second best digital risk IV played the first is risk factions on 360. This is a great pass and play for road trips or camping entertainment.
