In WeR Cubed, players utilize the motion tracking capabilities of the Project Tango to make their way through several challenging levels of 3D puzzles.
CONTROLS:
Main Menu:
- Choose Level: simply touch one of the buttons in the center to choose a level you wish to play.
- Reset Level: restart current level from scratch.
- Center Camera: reset camera to its initial position.
- Close Menu: go back to the current level and continue playing without losing any progress already made.
- Credits: see a picture of the two students that designed and implemented this game :)
In-Game Menu:
- Track Camera: enable positional and rotational tracking during gameplay.
- Center Camera: reset camera to its initial position.
- Open Menu: back to Main Menu.
Puzzle World - Touch and hold on the yellow tiles to decide where to move your avatar. Your avatar will "paint" whichever color is touching a puzzle-face, be careful where you move! Utilize the Motion Tracking of the Project Tango to get a better view of the puzzle, or to see a path that you might not have seen before!
It is possible to select a non-visible yellow tile, for instance one hidden behind a cube, as long as there isn't another one in front of it (visible tiles take precedence over hidden ones.)
Try to take care of red cubes first, and don't worry too much if, while doing so, few green cubes end up reversed back to their transparent state.

It's definitely different from other puzzle games I've played before. More levels would be nice, but the current number of stages seem suitable especially if considering the scaling in difficulty between puzzles. Good game!

The basic idea is original and challenging, but never to the point of being frustrating. It sort of strikes a balance between not being too easy, while managing not to become excessively hard.

It was very intuitive when I first opened the app and it was fun! I was able to hand my tango to my 7 year old cousin and he immediately was able to figure it out and started running around the blocks with the track camera view.

This game could do with more easier levels at the start, that's for sure, but once I got what this game is all about, I couldn't put it down. Once few kinks have been ironed, I'll consider coming back and increasing to five stars

Had lots of fun playing this game: in general I love puzzles, not just the video game type. It's nice that levels don't take hours to complete, making each step forward feel like a rewarding experience.

I saw this game in its early stages and it has far exceeded my expectations, everything fits together and the game is a pleasure to play. Cunning use of the Tango motion tracker to make hard puzzle s easier!

With more levels, this is something I'd pay money for! I like being able to move around the levels with this tablet, very neat technology.

Very interesting game mechanic once I got the hang of it. Motion tracking is so cool! Could use more of a tutorial, the difficulty kind of shot up after the first couple levels.
