L’artigianato pugliese d’eccellenza raccontato con una swipe story! Semplici racconti interattivi per ripercorrere la storia delle più caratteristiche tradizioni artigianali pugliesi, dalla ceramica alla cartapesta. Storie insolite e divertenti che collegano le botteghe del passato agli artigiani di oggi, ai nuovi musei dedicati alle tradizioni, alle residenze d’artista. Sempre con uno sguardo verso il futuro, verso le contaminazioni degli artisti contemporanei e verso le nuove generazioni.

Nel primo episodio La ceramica: il futuro nel solco della tradizione, incontreremo due piccoli amici uniti dalla passione per la ceramica. Un giorno le loro strade si divideranno fra Grottaglie e Laterza: chissà se il destino un giorno li farà nuovamente incontrare…
Nel secondo episodio Sulle ali della cartapesta: una storia insolitamente leggera, un bambino ed il suo aeroplanino di carta ci porteranno a spasso nel tempo a conoscere i segreti e la passione di un’arte povera ma formidabile: la cartapesta leccese. Non è straordinario come materiali insignificanti possano trasformarsi in oggetti meravigliosi?

Conoscerai il processo di produzione di ceramica e cartapesta, i luoghi che sono stati la culla di queste preziose espressioni del patrimonio culturale pugliese e scoprirai quanto futuro c’è dietro queste tradizioni.

Made in Loco è un progetto del Segretariato regionale MiBACT della Puglia, di riscoperta e valorizzazione, anche in chiave turistica, dell’artigianato di eccellenza che la Puglia esprime, fucina di talenti e di saperi, disposta ad accogliere nuove esperienze creative. Nato nel 2014, è giunto per la sua III edizione a Grottaglie, Laterza e Lecce.
Finanziato nei primi due step con fondi messi a disposizione dalla Regione Puglia nell’ambito dei FESR (PO 2007-2013) questa edizione è stata finanziata con fondi POIn (Programma Operativo Interregionale FESR PUGLIA 2007-2013 “Attrattori culturali, naturali e turismo” – Asse II Linea di intervento II 2.1 – Intervento a titolarità regionale “Immateriale e valorizzazione turistica del territorio”). The craft Puglia excellent story told with a swipe! Simple interactive stories to retrace the history of the most characteristic craft traditions of Puglia, to pottery and papier mache. Unusual and funny stories that connect the shops of the past to the artisans of today, the new museum dedicated to the traditions, artist residencies. Always with an eye toward the future, to the contamination of contemporary artists and to new generations.

In the first episode Ceramics: the future in the tradition, we meet two little friends united by their passion for ceramics. One day their paths divide between Grottaglie and Laterza, who knows if fate one day they will meet again ...
In the second episode on the wings of the papier-mâché: a story unusually light, a child and his paper airplane will lead a walk through time to learn the secrets and the passion of a poor art but formidable: papier mache Lecce. Is not it amazing how insignificant material can be transformed into beautiful objects?

Made in Loco is a project of the Regional Secretariat MiBACT of Puglia, the discovery and exploitation, also from a tourism, handicraft of excellence that Puglia expresses its talent and knowledge, willing to accept new creative experiences. Born in 2014, it has come to its third edition in Grottaglie, Laterza and Lecce.
