Call of Red Mountain Free Game

About Call of Red Mountain

Note this is a work in progress and released just for general interest.

Call of Red Mountain uses the assets from Morrowind by Bethesda Game Studios (2002).
In order to play this game you must have acquired those files in some manner, they are not distributed with this game engine.
You will need to copy the Morrowind installation folder onto your device, this can be up to 1.2Gb or more so you will need plenty of sdcard space.
You can copy it to any location that is accessible from your computer's file explorer.
When you first start up Call of Red Mountain you will be asked to select the Morrowind.esm file that is located in that game installation folder on your device.

A demonstration of how to copy the game data files form your PC can be seen here

If you want to save time copying, it only requires 2 files; Morrowind.esm and Morrowind.bsa. But without the sounds and music folders there will be no sound in game.

Please press "Report" if the app crashes, so I can try to fix any bugs from different installation setups.

If you get scrambled looking graphics, try the deoptomize check box on the menu.

If you want to fly, swipe up in the top half of the screen, when the keyboard appears press f to toggle free-fly mode, then press the back button to hide the keyboard.

Free-fly mode allows you to ignore physics (go through walls) and if you press on the left side of the upper portion of the screen you'll go up or down.

broken game

I would probably love this if i found a way to play morrowind without having it on my pc but still 5 stars

by K####:

You guys are amazing seriously thank you if you have a way to let me send money your way that would be sick

by H####:

Of course, TES fans would want a fully-fledged morrowind on their phones, this is the next best thing. Thanks for your hard work.

by N####:

Please do not stop developing this, I've wanted Morrowind mobile for years as have many others. I've yet to try it but the idea in itself is novel. I would set up a donation option if I were you, surely many of us old school fans would support this.

Omfg man thanks so much ! Question I'll most likely have figured out the answer to by the time you read: Are the original PC controls still intact (keyboard and mouse)? Can't see why they wouldn't be unless you had to disable for the touchscreen controls to work. If that's the case is there a way to disable it? Can the touchscreen controls be hidden ?

by C####:

What to say well it's morrowind on android all though far from playing it as if it were on Windows it's there the game loads you can walk about and play in the world must try for any fan of the game

by F####:

This is pretty cool, thanks for working on such a project. I made a YouTube video giving a brief overview. Hopefully it will boost the recognition of your app, it really is a gem. I can't wait to see how far it goes.

by Y####:

I got to say, Im stunned that this game is running on an android. Albeit, the framerate is horrible, but, I feel it will get better with time. The controls are weird and you cannot create your character, but I do love me some Morrowind. Hopefully, OpenMW Android is brought back (Compiling it looked like too much of a pain, and it was worded weirdly). Keep working on this!

by J####:

Thanks for developing this man. I've wanted this for a very long time. I think it's already possible with OpenMW, but Bethesda told them not to publish a guide on how to get it setup. But, you know, that was a few years ago and if they were going to release a mobile version of morrowind, they should have done it by now. I'll definitely send money your way when you get a chance to set up a way to do that. Thanks again!

Just a question is the sound file and the bsa included in the esm And the 1.5 gm estimate

by A####:

Had no textures and many graphic glitches on snap 650 :( But it's great beginning, hope you can fix this

by Z####:

Amazing... I'm a die-hard Elder Scrolls fan and this is what I've been looking for. I'd definitely pay money for a full featured app! Keep up the good work!

by W####:

Well i am having trouble finding a morrowind esm file if u can find a free copy of said file it would be awsome i will not be able to play the game otherwise

by D####:

I just done it but lel i cant play it everything blue its like i am fliying the game is broken and i cant see NOTHING

by V####:

This is really awesome!! The only issues I have with it have probably already been mentioned. The controls are a little janky and the framerate is pretty bad. I'd say all it needs is a little optimization. Aside from that this is very cool!

by U####:

You did a very well job and I would like to contribute to this project. I have been waiting for years to get Morrowind on my phone. And at one time I rooted my phone to install linux, just to play Morrowind. It was very laggy. This already runs amazing on my Galaxy s5! Thank you!

by I####:

Dumb, it says u need the esm n bsa, but there is no possible way to get those on Android, so this is the worst app to ever come out, this app can only run on pc, n i have the original goty edition for original xbox, PC version sucks anyways

by T####:

AMAZING. I'm actually walking around morrowind on my Samsung Galaxy s6. -EDIT the texture issues were immediately fixed and I'm noticing more stability with each update.
