Pocket Rice

So I LOVE this concept. I'm not sure if this is affiliated with world rice officially, but I miss how involved world rice was. In this app you can only answer and donate. There's no goals, no bar to see how many people you've fed, etc. I'd just suggest more user friendly goals or something to make it more interesting.

It's a nice app. "Back to Trivia" button is a little laggy. And slightly annoying to see the window pop up. Maybe replacing it with a little icon that shows you whether you got the rice or not would be great.

I really like what you are doing, it's great! Maybe you could put some different question on their. Or have users be able to add their own somehow? That way there's less chance of getting all the same question.

The app won't allow me to tap am answer button after I have hit the send rice button. It'll still let me switch topics but I have to close the app and reopen it in order for me to start choosing answers again.

Really neat concept, but getting a question right interrupts the flow with an extraneous "ok" button, and there's no way to browse all the possible topics as a list.

Very minimalistic. Sad not many people are interested or looking for something like this.

Buttons on tablet aren't accessible on the bottom of the screen. :( its on a tablet though

Nice thought but the controls are a bit finicky and the questions repeat themselves. Unfortunate.

It's good to give as much to the world as you take, being that I eat a whole ton I gave 1,000+ rice grains. I hope this helps.

I had to download it on my phone in order to use it. The "Get Started" button is not accessible on tablets so I couldn't do anything.

Love this idea...but formatting on my device does not let me use the bottons on the bottom and can't change orientation.

I don't know the answer to any of the questions.

I wish it had the art mode where you identified the painting to the painter. I love playing that on the website.

I love playing free rice on my computer. I really like the idea of the app I just don't feel that it is user friendly.

There really should be a math section

I love FreeRice and was excited to find this app. I was extremely disappointed to fid that I can't read it - at all! I can barely read the blue text and can't read the grey. Please change the color scheme. A heavier font would be helpful, too. I'll keep checking for updates. I hope you change this. I see from the comments that I am not the only on who has this problem.

I love being able to help others no matter what im doing or where I am. The only thing that im not hapy about is that the counter isn't telling me how many people we have helped.

Text is in pale grey on a white background. I can't make it out at all. Shame as I was looking forward to playing

This is a great app, the only problem is that every time I click "Give" it says no grains of rice have been donated and no people have been helped. Please fix as soon as possible.

Hate the update, loved it before. Loved picking my category and not being timed. Was five stars before, sucks now. I wanna keep playing to donate, but I'll probably delete it because now it is annoying.

Great way to spend time

Used to play a game called Free Rice in school. It was really fun. This game is great and the cause chosen is amazing. Making a difference any way I can makes me feel good. The only things that I would change are: make it look a little more like a modern style app, recreate the menu options, and provide more simple and easy questions (a difficulty setting). Also, it's really confusing getting an answer right and having the color show up red. Makes me think I got it wrong. Will rate 5 stars if updated.

Liked the idea and gave it a shot but got a lot of answers correct and they were marked wrong. Tried to tell me the address of the White House is 10 Downing St...

... when the correct answers that should be sending rice to those in need are instead marked incorrect. Deeply frustrating to feel like even my smallest efforts to help others are stymied in the end.

When answering that a triangle had 3 sides, I got it incorrect. Apparently triangles have 4 sides. What? ! A lot of the questions didn't register correct answers. The game has potential. It just needs to be fixed.

I like the idea, but some of your answer choices are incorrect. It needs to be cleaned up a bit.

I would rate higher, if the app actually ran. It won't move past the loading screen. Instead it just flashes rapidly as though my scree is going out.

The trivia is awsome but the more best thing is that you can feed people who cant afford. So sweet.

Thank god for what you are doing. I went to see if there was a freerice app and found this. You are a great person, I hope you are doing well. I hope to be like you someday.
