Chess PGN Master

The app looks promising but free version should have allowed to follow more games, to get a better hang of the app. I would like to upgrade to pro but not sure how it works.. 1. Will it work on single phone or multiple phones.? 2. What if I need to buy a new phone, will I have to buy license again? 3. Is the purchase valid for lifetime or have to pay again after future app. feature updates?

Very nice, except for a bug in displaying annotations, where sometimes an annotation for White's move doesn't get displayed until after Black's move.

When scrolling down the master games it goes down to the end. The whole functionality is flawed and amateurish.

Can't fully understand how it works have difficulty in searching past grandmaster's games please explain more

Kindly make inbuilt analysis as overall game analysis not for each move,one game one analysis, shows blunders and best moves same time,thanks

Excelent app. Few suggestions... 1. There SHOULD BE an option to filter games based on POSITION. As it will be helpful to filter with our favorite opening setup. 2. Can you show variations or branches with arrows, on every junction point. 3. Facility to go back to root of the current branch - this will help a lot to navigate through sub-variations. 4. Can you vibrate the mobile device if text/explanation is encountered between moves? So that user will come to that he should now see the annotation window. As user's eyes will always on the board and does not come to know when to read the move explanation.

1. threatened squares: Displays the status of each piece on the board. A red square means that the piece is under attack and not sufficiently defended, or that it is being attacked by a piece of lesser value. This is usually a pretty serious danger signal and means you must take active measures to avoid losing a piece. Yellow means that the piece is under attack, but it is just sufficiently defended. You must be careful about removing any defending piece. Green means the piece has enemy contact but is well defended. Usually it is okay to remove a defending piece.

Fantastic!! I have been using Scid for a long time but eventually it would not load all of the games in my database. So glad I found this app. I mostly use it to read PGN Books. Being able to search master games is awesome. I gladly upgraded to the Pro version.

Nice app but I can't read ScidvsPC files via dropbox (I have Scid on the go installed), will I have to buy the Pro version for that? Will I also be able to read ScidvsPc diagrams? Thanks

Save does not work. Tried multiple times with dropbox and google drive and file does not get uploaded.

Not only this is the most wonderful chess app to watch the chess games but also a great app to play against chess engines. I like the way it opens the engine options and then to adjust them to any elo levels..I installed Cheng Texel and Arasan ..the uci2 chess engines..This app is a complete chess GUI in itself in android version. The beautiful themes and wonderful presentation that you will never going to forget in your entire life :) Amazing board game with unprecedented qualitative graphics.

no position setup & no open fen files ????

Excelent app. Just couple of things if you can check,- 1) In Guess the Move mode, it omits some nested variations, (Whereas in View Mode it covers everything). 2) It reads the pgn game sequentially (like a book), rather than completing one whole branch at a time, (where variations can be studied properly). Can you look into these??

Chess games exist a dime a dozen. This is supposed to be a pgn viewer, anybody who studies chess knows that there are always variations. So far the only chess game that allows easy study of variations is the old pc Chessmaster games. Why cant android have that?

Hello. This is without a doubt the best pgn viewer available in play store. But I cant see the annotator in commented/annotated pgns. Thanks

This is a simple pgn viewing app that has aided me in view tons of games! Get the pgn files on your computer; I used Dropbox, and you're good to go!

How do I edit tags (names of players, etc)?
