Build a company from 3 employees to 30 employees by using your knowledge of Japanese kanji. Learn kanji with this fun game or use your current expertise of kanji to build an empire -- this app is really for everyone.
Why is this game special?
-- Kanji radicals.
Words are grouped by kanji radicals -- so they each contain something familiar. This makes the game more informative but also challenging at the same time because you have to be able to distinguish similar kanji.
-- Kanji details
Because of the Kanji grouping, you will need to pay closer attention to the details. After playing this game, you will easily be able to spot the difference between 木 and 本 or 未 and 末!
-- Simplicity
The process to learn Kanji doesn't have to be complicated. With only two choices to choose from at any time, the game will be very simple and easy to play. This game is designed to be payed with one hand so you can even play while on the busy Tokyo subways.
-- Kanji Repition - Never Forget
Learn Kanji Corp uses a special algorithm for showing you newer Kanji more often than older Kanji. This means you will be learning new Kanji characters but will still be shown older ones you learned enough so you won't forget.

Each level consists of just six kanji characters grouped in an intuitive fashion. With over 40 levels and counting, you will learn over 240 kanji characters. You don't have to start from scratch either! You can get word packages to start you off at your current desired level.

We know better than anyone that learning Kanji with flashcards is tedious and boring. This is why this game will be more effective. We seek to engage you to maximize your Kanji learning experience.

You can hire a staff of 30 people making Kanji paintings for you. Each employee can then be trained to level up and become more accurate as well as earn more money per kanji.
-- Furniture and Technology
Like a real company, you also have the option to buy furniture and upgrade your technology. Go from painting on canvases to Macintosh computers to Virtual Reality machines!
-- Different Game Modes
Its amazing what can be done with just 2 buttons. We mix in different game modes to keep you entertained. There are different modes of displaying and picking Kanji. The default mode is True/False.
-- Game Boosts and Duels
Unlock game boosts to boost your revenue by hiring more and more managers. You will also be randomly challenged to duels where you can earn valuable diamonds.

I love this game and learned a lot of Kanji from it. There is only one thing that bugs me: You only learn the Kunyomi of the Kanjis, so you have to learn the Onyomi from somewhere else. But other than that, this app is great! I'm looking forward for new updates! :))

Not enough options on which kanji to focus, very little to unlock, get boring and monotonous quickly.

As the other reviews show this is a fun enough app for people to reach the end of the game part. Sadly it is awful as a learning tool. As there is no spaced repetition algorithm underneath you will see items you have never answered wrong a lot even late in the game. Further it gives you no study tools, like information on your learning progress or the ability to review items one failed. Too bad as this combined even with a simple SRS algorithm would be perfect for learning.

This is a great way to to memorize Kanji and the idea is great. However this game needs a serious overhaul to get people learning more Kanji for longer. There is way too much to be said and it won't all fit here.

Played it just to try it out , ended up playing for over 2 hours straight and another hour and a half later in the day. Now I play it at least once a day. Great for remembering kanji!!

Well I was expecting at least the 2000 basic kanji. Furthermore, after buying all the npc, furniture and bonus you don't have any place to spend money. Looking forward to be updated, until there 4 stars.

Problem is that at higher levels, the game becomes boring since after you buy everything, there is no more incentive to keep earning money and it becomes like every other flashcard app. The double down diamond earning chance system is too infrequent that the only real option to get some of the other office building background skins is to pay real money for it. An easy fix to make this game better would be to reset the purchases when another office location is bought (orange room, black room, white room)

It used to be the best kanji learning game. However, since the last update all I get is a smiley instead of kanji in one of the first screens, so I can't play. To make matters worse, I lost all my progress. I hope you fix it soon to change my review back to positive
