Tunnels & Trolls Adventures

Love the game, like everyone else we need to be able to spend the gold somewhere. Currently can't get it to download anything since most recent update. Sticks at 0% even with wifi. Needs more longer quests. Several are super short. But over all my gf and I love this style of choose your own adventure rpg. Great work, keep fixing the bugs and this will be a keeper! Update: got it to download update and all is good again

Well written and adapted from the solo books and now are playable on my phone. The art is excellent, as always. The writing is well done and engaging. It lived up to my expectations and the price of the adventures is reasonable. Having the other character classes would be a nice bonus, as more adventures, but I'm sure they're coming. I also wouldn't mind seeing some original work and maybe a little bit longer of a campaign setting that would have a use for all that treasure you pick up along the way. I've been a fan of T&T for a while now. I have a lot of their solo adventures on pdf and even bought the Crusaders of Khazan for the pc, and I have to say, I'm impressed with the work and the ease of which I can now play my favorite rpg.

I really enjoy much of the game and believe it is worth the time but am also confused by some of the mechanics. For one, I have not found any way to use my Gold obtained from adventures. Would love to see a local shop where I could purchase stuff between adventures. That or a conversion for gold to gems or hearts. It's a shame that such a wonderful app starts off having a very freemium feel to it. I understand there will be opportunities to write adventures for the T&T app, where can I participate in that feature? Would love to come up with some longer adventures for the game.

It's great! Lots of Fun, I like seeing how different choices affect the story. Things I'd like to see: A use for all this gold. I've got ALOT. To get more than one heart for a video. A "purchase all stories" button. Or at least let me know how many gems/$$ it'll cost so I can make my choice ahead of time

Game crashes once in a while, and has a cap on play at about level 8 so far for my hobbit, but so what? It's just like role playing a solo adventure, you can make your own adventurer, and they can be quite jacked. Needs more adventures added for higher level play, but very fun. Edit: correction, no cap, just you have to keep replaying the same adventures again and again to level. Also, there seems to be some negative experience penalty if you play the exact same adventure too many times in a row. Super fun, needs more content.

As a long time T&T fan I very much appreciate the old school hand drawn art. It helps embody the feel of the classic pen and paper rpg. The narration is gripping and enthralling. The difficulty can be brutal and unforgiving but it's all in the luck of your trusty die roll. All in all I'm elated to see one of the world's greatest games going strong and presented to a new generation. Keep up the fantastic work. Looking forward to future content.

I really enjoyed the game. I didn't mind dying a bunch of times before beating" Naked Doom". It was fun finally winning. I played a couple other adventures and almost made it to mid level. I finished "Inn of 7 ayes "w ith a bunch of fantastic di rolls and beat it. The game then subtracted my ap's and returned me to first level. Now I'm kind of turned off by that glitch. We need to spend gold. How do I get gems and hearts? Can my character be fixed? I do appreciate the effort of the developers on this project when it worked I really enjoyed it.

Loving this at start up! It's very new, so once you've played through the adventures a few times it gets repetitive. I'd LOVE to see deathtrap equalizer dungeon for this app, and city of terrors! But I'd also like to see more classes than just the warrior. But I'm sure stuff like this is in the works. Great job, guys! Cool to see Tunnels & Trolls on my phone!

It's just like playing the p&p version. Armor doesn't double but I'm sure that will change once other classes are added? Customer service is beyond outstanding. A must have game for any old school gamer.

Love this game so much, it gives me the RPG fix I'm after in between DND games. Only things I don't like are how short many of the adventures are, but mostly I would like a place to spend all this gold of mine. Thanks for an awesome game though.

Love the game, but definitely needs more missions, and a place to spend gold, maybe make a default quest that is in a village where you can buy and sell wears? Also having problems with the video for hearts will only pop up once in a while i feel if people could level there characters more with the free hearts they would play more

Not very immersive, shoddy writing, character customization available as of now does nothing, puzzles are arbitrary giving almost no detail nor rewards. Artificial difficulty is likely to make up for the terrible story. Just buy a D&D beginners guide and find a group instead.

Love the game. However am having issues where when I play a module for the first time with a heart it refuses to load until I close the game and I lose the heart. Have also lost the option to watch a video to get hearts the only option now is to buy them and I am out because of the loading issue. Anyone else having this problem?

It isn't as bad as people say, but it isn't as good as people say either. The files are huge, so downloading takes a hot minute and the choose your own adventure story rely on equal parts luck and trial and error. It is incredibly easy to die, especially if you don't have a character that you created. It rewards min max builds, which results in generic characters not being viable. That said when you do finally beat a campaign it does feel good, but it would be nice to not have to worry about potentially dying on your first turn or getting just to the end and being randomly rolled into a battle with a creature with almost 900 hit points. If you are interested give it a look. Don't expect game of the year, but it is amusing.

This game is right up my ally. I would probably purchase​ all the adventures. Problem is the game force closes at random intervals. Forced closed durring caracter creation. Forced closed about 5 minuts into the accession adventure. I have to launch the game 2 or 3 times to get it to load at all. Please fix and i will 5* as well as purchas. My phone is a metropcs z981. Android 6 hope it helps.

Honestly wish there was something good about this app. There was no way for me to progress past the title screen. The music was choppy and sounded like it was being played out of a tube being beaten by ten autistic kids.

Fun on Tablet and Phone, not so much on TV. I first learned of this app on Boardgame Geek and gave it a shot. It's a fun adaptation of the old solo quest modules for T&T back in the day and I'm looking forward to playing what's available. When I looked on the play website and saw it was compatible my Shield TV, I installed there and the was when I began running into problems. It looks like the controls for using the game pad or remote haven't been implemented, so I ended up plugging a mouse in to navigate the game. I also had to hard exit the app to get out of it instead of using the back button. I don't know if it was a simple mistake that it was listed as Android TV compatible or not, but I do hope it does show up with full controls eventually; would love to play on the big screen.

Keeps getting stuck at loading screen so i decided to re-install. That seemed to fix it. Wish i could use photos and images on my phone asthe character avatar. Rolling doubles with 3 dice is hard.

Needs far more work as some adventures are extremely short and not even worth playing and others say beginner players but are clearly for higher levels. It sometimes freezes and won't load at all and the writing is basic, plain and dull fantasy nonsense. I suggest the games creator find some other line of work as clearly this is not for them. Avoid this disgraceful mess.

Overall I really am enjoying this game, the only reason it's getting 3 stars is because of what I assume to be a bug. Most times when I am trying to get into a game (usually a new one) it will always get stuck on loading at around 90 something percent and I have to close the app and reopen it. the only problem is that it uses up my heart which us really annoying. Would gladly rate higher if fixed. :)

Decent game overall, didn't like one bit about the roll portion where the die just slide across the screen and don't change values. Why not actually invest in using something that mimics rolling dice....maybe it'll make it more challenging instead of watching a loss from the start

Tunnels and Trolls (TnT) has been my goto rolegame since around 1976,and the guys have NAILED it. The look, the feel, even the gonzo Anything Can Happen attitude - they're all there. Somehow, they've captured the spirit of TnT where one can, even in programed solos, roleplay a character as if there are limitless options.

As a DnD player, this game is a fun way to distract and keeps me engaged. I appreciate how the game works. There are bugs here and there, none that are detrimental to my experience, as well as I know they know bugs exits and are trying to fix them I'm sure. I am excited for longer adventures to come out to the system. My biggest complaint about the game is I cannot seem to understand the point of having a gold reward system. I have no found a single use for Gold in the game yet. Perhaps in coming updates these things will be addressed. 8/10, I'm excited for the future and waiting for the game to expand. I really don't want to give this a one star. It's a great concept and l would really be into it if it wasn't for the fact that it kept crashing every 30 seconds. I tried to be patient and reopen the app but time after time, it would crash. I really hope that I am the only one who is having this problem because this looks like a very good game. But if I'm not, please fix it.

This game has great potential. You guys need a random dungeon generator and a progressive dungeon system (same dungeons get harder as you play them). You also need an area to upgrade and trade items and equipment. Your heart system for dungeons should also refresh. Not everyone will pay to play but everyone needs to be able to enjoy for more than one day. Good luck in development!

I don't love the cost of additional adventures. It's cheaper to buy an actual RPG on console than it is to unlock all of them

This game is fun. It would have been a 5 star review EXCEPT that it's pay to play for all but 2 of the stories (or ad watch to play) since for some stupid reason they decided hearts don't come back over time. Also no matter how strong you are, you always have to roll a 4, which is idiotic. I could understand getting dinged for rolling a 1 or double 1, but 4 is just dumb.

As an old T&T fan, I like this app overall. It's a good way to access the old solo adventures, many of which I long ago played in hard copy form, but still enjoy, though of course, the quality varies based on the original adventure. Three issues I've seen: even in WiFi, it hangs a lot while updating; like many others, I feel it needs a shop to spend character gold on weapons, equipment, and so on; and finally, the human reroll for a failed save does not consistently work. It often allows it, but not always. This is annoying anyway, but worse when it ends a run because of a glitch.

PLEASE HELP - it looks really cool and I've been trying my best to learn how to play these games. Downloaded it but couldn't play the game. Stuck at 0%. Created a character offline but still can't play. I have good internet and just want to start an adventure.

The only trouble I have with the app is after playing a few adventures, the game freezes up and the adventures stop working. After a quick restart of the app it works fine, though. This a great game with fun stories.

I want to give this app 5 stars. It is everything I want in a rpg app. Simple, fun, story driven. It is just so incomplete. The app store page says 10+ adventures and growing, but there are 9 counting the tutorial. Of those only 2 are full adventures, the other 6 are minis. Also there is nothing to do with treasure. No shop to buy gear, potions, anything. You just get gold and it is meaningless. There are some issues with freezing at akward times, costing hearts and dumping the whole adventure. Through all of this I jave grinded up to level 6, and want to jump back in. There is a Balrog that I need to power up enough to defeat. I get the app is new, but it feels unfinished, like a rough beta. I hope it holds me long enough to see additions to it, the idea is 5 star material.

I'm a veteran gamer of 30+ years, including the actual T&T RPG. There is zero fun in repeatedly dying...in the beginner adventure. Maybe allow portion of the XP to carry over after death Or maybe save feature? It's just not fun to die over and over and have to start from the beginning each time. EDIT: I added a star simce you replied and attempted to fix what I, and many others, had concerns about. Once I get a chamce to play, I may add another star based on what I find. Thanks for addressing our concerns!

Love it...but is there a way to gain hearts by watching ads? I am terribly poor would love to keep playing. Maybe I should lay off the T&T and pick up another job.

This game is awesome. The stories are good and i love the styles of gameplay. My only worry is the fact that it keeps taking my hearts without allowing me to play. 7 so far.

Uninstalled game after dying a further 20x making a total of 34 deaths on what is supposedly the easy beginner dungeon? Changed rating from 4 to 2 as this is not enjoyable

Has some loading issues from time to time, but they're relatively minor. Other than that it's a lot of fun.

Can't even get pass the title screen -_- really hated it, damn.... I was all hyped up to this game as well and this is what I get? Can't even play the game... ???? I'll edit this review once I actually get to play it for once...

I tried launching it and it started updating. After burning through 100+ megabytes of my data it stopped working. Please fix and tell me when you have. It looks so fun.

The only criticism I have for this game is that there doesn't seem to be a way to create a character other than a warrior. Other than that, the game is great. Keep adding more adventures, please.

Tried to play one of the other adventures by using a heart and it wouldnt load. Took 3 of my hearts with no continue adventure or anything. I didnt even get to read the intro.
