Story.
Centuries ago, our ancestors were forced to abandon Earth: A creeping field of radiation, now known as ‘The Miasma’, had penetrated the ether and poisoned the body of the planet.
Earth was swiftly encased, and now rots in an ever expanding wasteland of spheres that was consumed and drained by this mysterious haze.
Today, the miasma reaches far across infinity and continues to spread, with smaller rifts opening sporadically across systems; the source and origin of their appearance is unknown.
Many fear that the spread will never cease, but fewer have attempted to curb it. Less still, is the number of those whose exploration into this deathly site has yet to kill them.
Amidst this chaos, four separate factions arose as the universe’s superpowers: Auslia, En Eire, Kalthem and the Brigadier's of Armageddon operate independently, with varying purpose.
En Eire expanded from a guild of merchants; they now control trading systems across the cosmos, investing heavily in military and pharmaceutical industries.
Kalthem exist on the fringe, claiming to make the most advanced scientific strides they stop at nothing to gain the knowledge they seek.
Little is known of Auslia. Reports show their people live prosperously: protected by large shields they live insular lives, contributing little to the affairs of external factions.
The Brigadier's of Armageddon are pirates, preying primarily on En Eire’s expansive trading routes. Their members seem to experience the most freedom, though they have several powerful leaders.
We are an affiliation who recognises the threat of miasmic expansion: operating as a splinter group of the four great factions, we intend on locating and eradicating the source of that swelling pollutant before the macrocosm is entirely consumed.

There's a lot of surface depth, nice presentation and a compelling universe with a strong sense of history and character to enjoy. However, while planning research and ship-building is enjoyable, there's not much actual game play involved. The tactics involved during combat are dishearteningly minimal, as are the visuals as tiny ships fly in straight lines parallel to each other launching broadsides. Potential goes unrecognised, there needs to be more actual game and story alongside the intriguing setup.

Will you make a fleet modifier option. So that I can place the ships in the position I want them to be in during battle. Great game so far. Have to be very careful what tech I chose to start out with. As well as what modifiers to add to ships and which to upgrade first. Been close but I have lost one yet.

F70%
by F####:

This game has a great deal of potential, however it lags. Also the second level is quite difficult the process of upgrading takes too long for the difficulty progression. I would like a refund.

This feels like a great game. The visuals are spectacular as is the scope of gameplay. Right now this game is crippled with bugs and performance issues that render it almost unplayable at times. This game will be fantastic when the devs can remove the lack of responsive and lag.

S70%
by S####:

Great game so far. But, the UI is awful, It's clumsy trying to compare weapon stats when building ships, TOO MUCH SCREEN FLIPPING! Also, some of the buttons are small and close together. Was this a PC port? Also, any "event" will interrupt your ship's orders, so you have to re-assign it every time, which is so tedious. The game has enough depth that I'll still play it. But, it could be much more enjoyable.

I love the game for it's a challenge an it's what I was looking for, gotta use most my intelligence just to figure how it all works!? Controls an Camera Angles could Use/do some WORK!? Storyline Gravey I like how you can Grind for the items you want but I'm playing on Normal an so far I'm being challenged an I love it!? Be Nice if they come up with more like it!? Still playing An it's worth my Time!?

Great concept but lags to no end! The high and farther you go the worse it gets until you have to restart it. Waiting for update to fix these issues.

This game is amazing! I have waited years for someone to develop a proper space game for android . This game reminds me of the fantastic "home world" series, turned into a turn based game. The graphics are great and the game play feels natural and self explanatory. The dialog and interactions clever and amusing. I can not speak highly enough about this game! To anyone who likes space rpg's you need to try this game out. Also I'd like to thank the developers for creating this masterpiece. Take care everyone.

While it has a fairly steep learning curve, this game is phenomenal in terms of playability. Awesome ships with variable upgrade system allow you to completely customize fleet and tactics to suit your own style. With an expansive sandbox to play in you can do either story missions or freeroam explore detailed solar systems (which are dynamic and functional). Definatly worth the price.

S70%

I just wish that there was a way to zoom in on the enemy fleet when you are battling them

S70%
by S####:

This is just stupid! I have 214000 points on my fleet and i lost to a 14000 point fleet, because i never get to fire a single shot!!!! Awful gameplay, the better you got, the less you can play it..

Extremely in-depth for an offline strategy space game. Incorporates a few nice research trees and the improved equipment that follows. Wide varieties of possibilities, and well thought out storyline to boot. Absolutely worth the money, plus some.

But it didn't work for me. Very disappointing. If like a refund, please.

S70%
by S####:

Definitely worth spending your money on this game lots of replayability with the game's AI inviting differently every time you play graphics needs a slight improvement besides that a fantastic game all round

S70%
by S####:

It definitely needs a tutorial and a guide. However, you will be able to figure it out if you play strategy games regularly.

S70%

Very good game needs some updates in the beginning part of the game and bugs fixing for the tablet very bad it lags a lot in the Maine menu.

The game has improved a lot during last few months. Good and solid adventure awaits every sci-fi fan.

I'm very satisfied with the purchase. The combat mechanics are deep and fleet management is well polished. The graphics are everything you could ask for from a mobile platform game. The narratives are fun and don't overstay their welcome by being too long or frequent. There is room for improvement in two areas: controls and game play. This is a minor complaint, but it's annoying when you have to replot a course if it's interrupted and goes to another system. The hourglass button works to continue a plotted course within a system if it's interrupted, however if the course involves warping and your course is interrupted the hourglass will take you to the warp point and your fleet won't warp. Also, the item menu is a little cramped in the fleet customization UI; it's only 2x3, making it easy to get lost in your items once you get a lot of them. The area that leaves the most to be desired is world building/colonization. As it stands, world management is mostly automatic and predetermined, and your worlds have no real position to the rest of the galaxy. I would suggest the developers of this game to look at something like Birth of the Empires and Star Traders 4x to get some ideas on world building. BotE is extremely deep while ST4x is much simpler, so comparing the two can help the developers of this game get ideas on how to scale the complexity of world building for this game. I think the combat is and needs to remain the most complicated part of this game, but some giving some attention to world building would push this game into 5 star territory :)

Bought the game; now waiting for a tutorial. Really disappointed.

I enjoy the game, graphics, commentary, but there's some issues also. The more I play the more the game lags and loading times increase. Major lag when it auto saves. Needs a much better tutorial and explanation of the mechanics. Better soundtrack would be nice, being able to pan the camera manually during battle, a functioning save option. These issues happen on my phone and my tablet.

N70%
by N####:

Fun full game, Learning curve is a bit steep, but a little reading comprehension and patience work wonders here. A tutorial would be nice, but I would rather have more in game content. Battle can be supremely brutal and is a bit of a chess match, first mistake may loose. Tons of new content since launch, I've been in for a while now, I keep coming back for more battles to scratch that itch and it's still installed.

I absolutely love space games and strategy games so this is a match made in heaven for me. I would like more backgrounds when battling the other ships. For example when you take over a green planet and you have to fight the remaining fleet on that planet and you start the fight I would like to see the planet below or maybe even in the atmosphere of the planet with clouds floating past. This game has a huge potential ahead

by N####:

Played on Samsung Note 4 Android. Extremely sluggish at higher levels. Too many items being given after battles that you can only sell one by one with huge pause. O my reason I haven't uninstalled is because I am waiting for you people to listen to your complaints!! Did you guys bother testing this game? I want to play this game, but you guys are not making it playable at higher levels.

T70%
by T####:

Good: Nice graphics, uncomplicated. Bad: no long distance travel, some useful information not provided (ETA's, next waypoint in missions), combat (usually a selling point in 4x) is uninteresting, single fleet wars. Ugly: trial and error learning is quite frustrating

Can't figure out how to do anything. And I'm a hardcore adult gamer. What a load of B.S. Do not waste your money on buying this game! It is confusing as f*ck to play and is NOT fun--there seems to be nothing to fight, and no real goal to achieve. Don't believe me? Try it yourself--you'll be begging for a refund. Rather go play Sins of a Solar Empire than this garbage!

Update: on S7Edge it lags terrbly at the moment - Still love the game, but it's SO unbalanced, I've just got up to 30k in my armada and the computer has jumped from 8k to 120-140k...

So, this game haas been one that I've wanted to like for a very long time! It seemed like it had so much promise but (as others have noted) the lack of an introduction and fairly steep price tag made it hard to get into right away. Well, I noticed in the latest patch that they said they'd added something of a tutorial embedded into the game, so I thought I'd try it again. I'm so glad I did! They've significantly improved the game from that perspective, having tooltips for everything the first run through the game. Much improved and now I finally understand what's going on. As others have noted, this game does research and setting up your "perfect" fleet VERY well, my hats off to the programmers, truly a gem for strategy players now that they've fixed the initial problems. My only recommendation would be to summarize it all in a PDF for quick reference, as the world is fairly deep. But, well done, it deserves a 5-star rating, IMO.

I love strategy games but this game it's freaking retarded there's no gold is clueless to how to play it it doesn't show you how to play it you don't have nothing to fight there's no story mode to it for real it f****** sucks I wouldn't buy it if I were you

I am completely new to this genre, but I play many turned based RPGs. I read most reviews before finally purchasing a license after keeping this game on my wishlist for months. I was hesitant, but I saw that many reported problems were addressed in the last update. One problem mentioned in many reviews was about the lack of a tutorial or instructions, but this is apparently not one of the issues corrected. I'm a pretty intelligent person, so I thought I could figure it out and, I'm big enough to admit, I was dead wrong! Until some type of tutorial is added or at the least a quick start PDF written (no video tutorials, please), I cannot recommend this app. For now, I feel like my money has been thrown Into the Void! But, I haven't given up, yet. I am anxiously awaiting the development team to do something about this lack of help before I request a refund. It shouldn't take one team member more than a day to put together a quick start guide and I cannot recommend this game until something like this is done. UPDATE: 6 months after I purchased a license (and talked to the team about some kind of tutorial - they said they would do something about it) and nothing!

Love the gameplay...would give 5stars if the battle screen cameras were interactive... sometimes I cant see what's happening, and it would be nice for moveable 3d models of the ship...that's just window dressing though, the game is fun and fantastic otherwise...great job!

I really like this game but sometimes even though I have full health it says I have minimal and ships die easily

Definitely worth picking up if you have the money, it provides pretty nice ship customization, satisfying combat and strategy, and the ability to change the difficulty of the game. Not bad!

Simply one of the coolest and best customizeable space games on the app store. I love the different ship systems and how you have to manage everything, so many different ways to load out your fleet. Great game
