I have just now completed the tutorial and already I'm giving this game a solid 5 stars. Never had the pleasure of playing fantasy board game, but now I already can see why everyone made a big deal about this stuff. It's very intuitive, and is the perfect thinking game I was looking for. I may consider buying the ultimate edition, but I may just play around this version for a while.

I like HeroQuest a lot and really enjoy this digital form. Just some small details that I'm missing in it. Like the amount of dice a character has, isn't visible in the shop. So if you buy new stuff for a steep price, it might not even be that much better.

Fun game. Only thing I would change is square by square movement. Would be easier if complete movement range was visible and you could just touch where you wanted to go with remaining spaces still visible. This way you could still move point to point if you need to without having to touch each square. Not a major thing but would be easier. Other than that, loved it!

If you liked HeroQuest back in the 90, then you'll love this! Plays nearly identically to the old board game. Bonus points for extra classes! My only complaint is not being able to scroll through the character descriptions, but that's a minor complaint. Ads are there, of course, but completely bearable. Really good stuff!

1990 d n d style board game. Its like amazing I not played this since had the board game n tbh its better coz no board to set up n put away n store lol a definite yes. U have to try it if u like role playing n board games.

Cool game, nice heroquest style. Shame of the shitload of bugs it has though. Berserk gives 3 extra dice instead of 2 and never ends. Spirit defense never ends. Game crashes when android underbar opens up.

The normal setting feels more like the actual hard setting. And I'm a little scared to find out how the hard setting actually is. Is it dark souls logic, if so please stop it. I do like how we have more equipment and heroes than the last time I had this game. But it feels a bit too hard for the free version. Can we bump down the difficulty spikes please? I can't be the only who finds six enemies in one room annoying. Especially if we meet brand new ones on top of that.

I grew up playing Hero Quest and this game is a great throwback to it. Also, considering its free, the ads are obnoxious like a lot of other games. Great balance!

N70%
by N####:

I can only move people over each other in straight lines, the evoker has no control over her minions, you can't just set it to auto search when I clear the room so I have to syscle threw my team and check for treasure with the lucky person. Just doesn't look finished.

The closest thing I can get to classic Dungeons and Dragons for free. I just wish I knew how to back it up since I'm changing phones and I've gotten pretty far in the game. Love this game, very challenging.

Great game. Just like playing as I learned it in 1978. Attack or Action by not both. Be mindful how you choose your Hero's - they play in that order.

Exactly what I've been looking for, for bloody months and years in an android game. Been playing it for hours, looking forward to going on to part 2 once I'm done :) enjoying it, thank you for making this

The game could use a bit more polishing, there are some text issues and a general lack of explanation in some areas. However it's still a solid game and very playable. Some depth to the story and characters would also help thicken the game play up.

I'm having trouble starting. When Im choosing a character,it doesn't let me pick one. Keeps canceling my choices by itsel

N70%

Really fun game and a great throwback to a super enjoyable boardgame from my childhood. There are some mechanics that don't work completely right or could be tweaked, but overall great job.

Pretty fun, and at the very end it got challenging. It can feel repetitive at times but that usually means it's time to take a break.

This game is almost an exact copy of the Hero Quest board game, but that's quite okay with me. It's quite smooth, the mechanics are easy to figure out and it lends to casual playing. My only gripe is the equipment system not letting me equip more than one piece of armor at a time, as well as the equipment layout. This can absolutely be improved upon. Other than that, I'm quite satisfied and am considering buying the full version.

Loved the boardgames as a kid, and this takes it further. Simplistic D&D system but just right to dip into quickly when you've a spare 5 minutes. Wish you could alter the order in which your team move on your turn, otherwise it's brilliant.

U70%
by U####:

This is hero quest. Like almost nothing is different except for some new classes which seem OP. It's just such a rip off... The dice symbols the characters EVEN the health value of the characters... I mean put SOME effort into it..

U70%
by U####:

Each character's movement is based on a random die roll. This is ridiculous. They should each have a standard movement distance. I found myself just skipping characters' turns to get a poor rolling one to join the group. This makes everything take way too long. You can't move diagonally. This is really annoying. There are plenty of table-top RPGs that deal with that quite easily and I don't know why a similar system wasn't adopted. The movement mechanic is so clumsy and cumbersome it's not worth playing.

My family and I dug out the old HeroQuest boardgame a few weeks ago and have been having a blast killing monsters and casting spells. I couldn't be a hero because I'm Zargon so this app is great for me to get to play as a hero. Thank you guys for developing it!

Awesome. The play is good, system is sound. My only complaint is movement based on dice rolls is frustrating sometimes. I understand why, but maybe 4+1d6 for a little consistency? Just a suggestion, still love the game

M70%
by M####:

Easy to play, easy to learn. Sucks that you only get one shot at reading the instructions and then have to fumble through. Also, the Evoker is clearly a summoner! Evokers blow stuff up not call other creatures to fight, that's summoners!

U70%

This game is a pretty direct port of the old boardgame Hero Quest. I never accidentally clicked on one, but they were questionable. Things like 'virus detected, click here to delete'

S70%

Just finished the first story mode with Warrior, Dwarf, Cleric, & Mage. Cleric was the weak link there.Mage was clutch, Warrior the real tank (o/c), Dwarf soaked up leftover damage and rummaged chests. Liked the use them or lose them for consumables per level. Even though the weapons, armor, and rings didn't seem to stack it wasn't truly necessary. Fun times!

Like another reviewer,I simply couldn't move, despite furious tapping, double tapping, shaking, pressing and whatnot the character wouldn't move,I even tried looking online for a guide to see if I was doing something or not.might be alright?,works okay on another device and it' s alright, not as good as Talisman or Heroes of Steel though.

I remember playing this board game as a kid an we the others cracked the poopas the board would go flying the green goblins end up in vacuum an my champion lost his arm haha the good old days I recommend it to the turn base players out there :)

I can't chose characters. I click on the open slots, it shows me the choices. I click one, it returns to the slots page but does not add the character I've chosen so I can't even begin playing. Very sad as I had high hopes for this game.

U70%
by U####:

Really fun game! I loved the board game Hero Quest growing up as a kid but I don't have $200 to buy a new set so this works perfectly. And I really like that the picture of Abomination is taken from the front cover of the PC game Warlords Battlecry 1, I knew I recognized that picture from somewhere.

U70%
by U####:

...why can't I attack most of the time? I'm adjacent to a monster, I still have moves left, it tells me "attack or perform an action", but when I tap the monster there's no attack button just the info about the monster. Occasionally the attack button appears but most of the time it doesn't which makes the game unplayable.

Jumped into it and just completed the tutorial. Good fun, I just wish you could pick which character to move at the beginning of each turn. It would help with party placement/tactics.

Solid if old school gameplay. Very enjoyable, despite some unclear instructional text. (Visible Enemy abilities trigger until you see, then defeat, the next group of enemies, for instance)

This game is the best to relive the old school rpg feel. Roll the dice see why fate has in store for you. May luck be on your side...

It's a bit choppy however it's simplicity makes it strangely addicting.
