FreeCell is an open solitaire, where all cards are dealt face up. The board consists of four free cells, four home cells and eight columns. The goal is to place all 52 cards in the home cells, forming four stacks, one for each suit, in ascending order from ace to king. Moves to a column must be made in descending order, alternating colors. Only the cards at the bottom of the columns or in the free cells can be moved. A free cell can contain no more than one card at a time.

It constantly freezes. You have to keep opening and closing it to get it to work. It does this mid game. But the timer keeps going

Freecell has always been a great game. It's not a time killer like most games, it helps me organize my brain. If you have "non productive" time to kill playing a game, you might as well be constructive and sharpen your brain.

I love FreeCell and particularly the Odesys version. I've played it to death on iPhone (2000+ games) before switching to Android. I must confess the undo/redo and restart features are brilliant and key to my sanity!

This free Freecell App is the best one I have found. The cards move automatically when a move is permitted and it finishes the game when possible. I have uninstalled other apps because they don't measure up against this one.

Start again feature is useful. Doesn't have timer showing. A bit more basic than the other I've tried and not so competitve, so good if you don't want to take it too seriously.
