In Blackjack21 HD the goal is to reach the closest value to 21 as possible without exceeding it.
Make sure to not go over the value of 21 as this will automatically make you loose your chip bet.
At the end of each round if the dealer's hand total value is closer to 21 as yours the dealer wins.
If your hands total value is the same as the dealers the round results in a push and you get your chips back.
The cards value are as follows:
Cards ranging from 1-10 count as much as their value says. A 10 of Spade counts as 10, 5 of Heart counts as 5 etc.
The face cards Jack, Queen, King count as 10 points each.
An Ace can count both as 1 and 11.
It is possible to split a hand of cards when both cards have the same value (for example 9 of Hearts and 9 of Spades).
After a split both hands can win independent of each other.
Just as in a real vegas casino you can choose to "double down". In this case the chip bet is doubled and you are no longer able to draw any more cards.
In Blackjack 21 HD winning and loosing goes hand in hand, it is a matter of skill and chance, sometimes you win, sometime you don't.
The cards are randomly shuffled and you can also decide how many decks of cards you want to play with.
In Blackjack 21 HD the rules are as in a classic vegas casino Blackjack game:
- Dealer must draw to 16 and stand on all 17s
- Blackjack pays 3:2
- Insurance pays 2:1

The higher the bet you place the more you lose. Play safe and bet 2 grand you'll break even or come out a little ahead. Anything higher than 5 grand and you lose every time. This is not ok.

Revision: TSR & the only way to exit is to force a close! Plus, if you need to replenish your funds you have to go through some advertising. That is a reasonable expectation for a free game but for the fact that it couldn't retrieve the 'video' so it was basically unplayable, thus I uninstalled it. It was pretty good up until then, I could even accept the 'force stop' but if you can't use it, it's pointless having it.

It's the best of the many other free apps I've tried. Good graphics, choice of rules and number of decks. One thing I would like is an option to turn off bonus chips. All apps give bonuses but I like to keep track of my actual chip count. If you go bust then you would start over again with the original bank amount. I reinstall when the chip count gets too high.

Been playing for awhile over 10k hands and playing by the book does not yield the normal win/loss ratio. Yes I understand some is luck but I started seeing patterns which makes me question it. I believe the w/l ratio is closer to 1 in 3 or 33% chance of winning. Vegas odds are closer to 46% Because this game makes money off advertising for coins to play, I am sceptical that the odds match live playing.
